Gift review
Bought it for my mom for Christmas, the app for us works pretty well, a few glitches here and there but she loved it, and it's a good size for smaller plants for maybe clippings of larger plants, I would say its a great gift, for a reasonable price, and it looks great wherever you place it!

great product!
This has really transformed how I care for my small plants and made it so much easier. It's a cute design and color, and it feels high-quality, making it easy to use and intuitive. I wanted something to prevent me from killing my plants, and this helps me do just that, so I would say it's a pretty good value for money. 10/10 recommend!

Great idea, bad execution.
I had high hopes for the 2026 AI Smart Planter (Extra Large), but this turned out to be a complete disappointment. First, the “AI” features barely work. The app constantly disconnects, gives inaccurate moisture readings, and sends random notifications that don’t match the plant’s actual condition. It feels more like a gimmick than real smart technology. Second, the planter itself is poorly made. For something advertised as “extra large” and premium, the plastic feels cheap and lightweight. The drainage system is inconsistent — either too much water or not enough, which nearly ruined my plants. Setup was also frustrating. The instructions were vague, the app interface isn’t user-friendly, and syncing took multiple attempts. For the price, I expected something reliable and intuitive. Overall, this product overpromises and underdelivers. You’re better off buying a traditional planter and a basic moisture meter. Definitely not worth the money.

Much bigger and better quality than expected
I actually both the ivy planted and this one, and the difference surprised me. This planter is noticeably bigger, sturdier, and feels way higher quality overall. The animations are smoother, the pot itself has more weight to it, and it just looks more premium on my desk. The plant fits perfectly and the reactions when I water it are a nice touch. Definitely glad I chose this one too.

Unique way to get kids interested in plants
I was charged by this product although to be clear, I would consider this more of a toy, a cute one at that. The pot came packed in a sweet box that would make this a nice gift for kids or anyone looking for a cute plant gadget. The pot is on the smaller side, and is totally plastic, so it won't hold anything large. Maybe a small succulent or fern. The functionality is really cute, and it's like a Tamagochi for your plant, giving it a cute personality that is interactive. I am into technology and gardening, and honestly, for me it lost it's charm after a while. Not to sound like a party pooper but it's not realistic to keep a growing plant in this little container forever. That being said, there's nothing really wrong with this device, and I do think it would be fun for younger people, seniors or maybe office workers trapped in boring cubicles, looking for a little whimsy.

A fun, interactive “plant pet,” but more novelty than reliable plant care tool
I’ve been using this smart planter for about two months with a small indoor plant on my desk. Compared to traditional self-watering pots I’ve used, this one focuses much more on the interactive “Plantagotchi” experience than on consistent, dependable plant care. In terms of performance, the self-watering feature works at a basic level, but it’s not always consistent—I found myself double-checking the soil instead of relying on it بالكامل. The app connects, but can be glitchy, with occasional disconnects and notifications that didn’t always match the plant’s actual condition. One thing that stood out was the animated “face” and personality—it’s genuinely cute and adds a fun, almost pet-like element, especially in a workspace or as a conversation piece. A potential limitation is the size and build. It’s smaller than expected for something labeled “extra large,” and the lightweight plastic doesn’t feel very premium. It’s best suited for small plants like succulents or clippings, not anything that needs room to grow. Also, if you’re expecting precise smart tracking, the tech side can feel inconsistent. Overall, I’m giving this 4.3 stars because it’s a creative and entertaining concept with some useful features, but the unreliable app, smaller capacity, and novelty-focused design limit its practicality. It was easy to put together and didn't take much work to be able to use. Value for money is subjective, but I think the cute factor will certainly play into that. Cute and engaging as a desk accessory or gift, but better treated as a fun gadget than a serious plant care solution.

Fun robotic ai planter friend
This ai smart planter is the bees knees. It is so cute with a little interactive face that tells you how the plant feels by using sensors to detect moisture and other aspects of the plant. It connects to an app on your phone to help your little plant buddy feel alive. It holds a good amount of dirt for a good sized plant and the app has a long list of plants already programmed from herbs to flowers to succulents. Its a great investment if you want to have a fun plant companion. It comes fully assembled you just add your plant and dirt and your app on the phone and your all set to take care of a plant that has fun times with you. The planter itself is study plastic but I dont think it would survive a fall so vibe careful, otherwise its durable.

Did not work
Unfortunately, the product did not work and would not pair with an Android device. In addition, soil was missing, leading me to believe it was a return.
