Not exactly red in color, for achieving the bright red color you will have to add lots of the gel. Other wise a good buy. Does not alter the consistency of the batter.

Never Buy This
Worst food color.. I made pinata and it failed due to this food colour..I added 3-4 drops, firstly of all this colour’s consistency is so dense that it didnt come out nicely and this added thread like texture to my cake.. Bad experience.
