SanDisk Cruzer Force 8GB USB Flash Drive

Loved this product and hence the rating! :) Have been using it for almost 3 months now and I must say it's a very quality product! Using this pendrive for my car and I'm pretty impressed with this one. Speed of file transfer is very good with this one and its metallic build impresses you totally! Just make sure to keep yourself from losing this at it is very small in size (I've attached a string to it). My advice: Go for it if you want value for money product! :)

SanDisk Cruzer Fit flash drive is a very tiny piece of hardware capable to fit into the most otherwise unreachable places. It has a very low writing speed but comparably high reading speed when compared to its bigger brothers. This, suggest that it is designed for static data such us music, movies where writing to this flash drive is not often required. SanDisk Cruzer Fit’s small size allows for a permanent insertion into Laptop or Netbook where it can be used for a crucial data backup. Due to its size SanDisk Cruzer Fit flash drive is quite hard to pull out from its guard cup as it does not allow for a steady grip unless it is attached to a key ring or string. On the other hand SanDisk Cruzer Fit flash drive is supposed to be plugged in to device and seldom pulled out such us car audio or netbook. Its small size prevents from accidentally hitting it and disconnecting. It has a tiny LED attached to its body which indicates writing mode only. LED does not flash while accessing and reading data. Due to its very low writing speed, SanDisk Cruzer Fit flash drive is not recommended to be used where frequent large volume data writing is required. Fantastic product by sandisk, quick delivery by Amazon.in great work guys. Pros: 1. Good reading and writing speed upto 12-20MBPS. 2. Metal case for long lasting. 3. 5 year warranty/guarranty. 4. Sandisk secure software inbuilt for secure data. 5. Small size. 6. Usb 2.0 & 3.0 compatible. Cons: 1. Its port is slightly smaller than normal so it doesn't get attached to pc very easily and you have to force it to get attached. I’m writing this review after long usage of a little over 6 months. I had bought 8 GB version to store work related docs, files, presentation etc. and some for college. I’d say I’m happy with my purchase. Here’s what I liked and what I didn’t - What I liked - 1. Design - Simple and elegant design with glossy metal finish. Looks really attractive. It’s slim at 7.4 mm. 2. Transfer speeds : Read - 38.4 MB/s & Write - 4.74 MB/s 3. Doesn’t heat after extended use, compared to my Strontium Ammo (Silver) 32 GB flash drive. 4. Build Quality - As it’s metal, it’s sturdy and feels like a premium thing in hand. Would survive a drop but with a scratch of course. 5. 5 Years Limited Warranty. In case anything happens, SanDisk has a great customer support. I have my SanDisk MicroSDHC Card experience. What I didn’t like - 1. Transfer Speeds are slow when compared to USB 3.0 flash drive used with a USB 2.0 supported PC. (In my opinion, you should buy a USB 3.0 flash drive even if you own a USB 2.0 PC/Laptop as it will give you faster transfer speeds and in case you would upgrade your PC later on, it would have USB 3.0. I have SanDisk Extreme 64 GB which is blazing fast. I have done it’s review). 2. No neck strap included. 3. Some flash drives of SanDisk have Lifetime Warranty. 4. Glossy metal finish gets a lot of fingerprints on it. Bottom Line - 1. This USB 2.0 flash drive is great but only if you want to transfer light stuff like pdf, excel files etc. as transfer speeds are slow compared to the new ones launched in 2014 and 2015. As this was released in 2013, the speed is no wonder slower than the ones released in the later years. 2. If you have large files to transfer, I’d recommend SanDisk Extreme 32 or 64 GB version or SanDisk Ultra (more affordable than Extreme with slightly less faster than Extreme) with same capacities and super fast transfer speeds, and are also one of the best USB 3.0 flash drives on the market. I ve bought this product like 1 and a half month ago and I am truly happy w/ it. The delivery was great. But, I want to comment on the product itself. I had left it in my trouser which I actually soaked for more than a day. And then,send the trouser to a washing machine w/ the pendrive itself. I only realized that the pendrive had gone through all the soaking and spinning when I was about to dry the laundry. Amazingly, the pendrive works fine after that!! No corrupted file whatsoever. So, I highly recommended this product!

Beautifully crafted and niftily small device that fits very well on a keychain. Be prepared to have it scratched, dinged and scuffed but that's not why you bought it right? Also, for the first few uses it was mysteriously tight to fit into my PC's USB slot, but worked fine eventually. Overall great build and good value for money for its capacity.

Ich habe den Stick mit einem live-Linux bestückt und nutze diesen wenn ich mein Notebook nicht dabei habe. Er bietet ausreichend Platz für meine Daten. Das Booten vom Stick gelingt schnell und auch die Datenübertragung bietet keinen Anlass zur Kritik. Manche Interessenten könnten sich aber an der glänzenden Oberfläche stören, da diese sehr empfindlich ist was Fingerabdrücke angeht. Mich störts nicht. Er passt aufgrund der Größe super mit an den Schlüsselbund.

E' arrivata subito e nella sua confezione originale. Ho riscontrato, per ora, solo pregi: è piccola e, quindi, molto maneggevole e trasportabile; è ben rifinita; e, almeno sul mio computer, è molto veloce nella memorizzazione dei dati, certamente, paragonata ad altre usb che ho, più veloce della media (parlando di chiavette usb del costo di 8/10 euro). Il tutto a un prezzo buono. La ricomprerei. Molto buona Amazon come sempre.

Ho acquistato questa pendrive per creare un disco di avvio per OS X. L'ho scelta per via della marca nota ed affidabile e per le sue caratteristiche (Impermeabile, resistente agli urti e ai raggi X). In effetti sembra piuttosto robusta, ha una bella forma ed è molto più piccola di quanto credessi. Non ho avuto problemi nell'inserirla o estrarla dalle porte USB, come invece altri lamentano. Peccato solo che non sia un USB 3.0, ma visto che, come spero, non la dovrò usare spesso, non sarà un gran problema dover aspettare un po' di più per il trasferimento dei dati. Spedizione veloce e puntuale con Amazon Prime, avuto in prova per un mese.
