Possible false advertising. Likely more Fish than Krill oil
In nice big letters on the front view of the bottle and the listing, it says "Krill Oil". If you squint to read the pictures, you will see on the label that it says "Krill/Fish Oil" under the table of ingredients which kind of leaves it up to interpretation as to if that is suppose to mean that krill is a fish or that there is krill and fish oil. Under the description of the product, there is a clever disclaimer that what you receive may be more or different information on the product you receive and that you should not reply solely on the information provided. What, really? There isn't any other mention of the ingredients other than the "Other Ingredients"So, when I receive it, I see on the label (see included pictures) on my bottle that it says "Contains fish (Anchovy, Mackerel, Sardine, Herring or Tuna) and Crustacean Shell Fish (Krill)". If the ingredients are listed, as is usually done, with the larger percentage ingredient first, then this is fish oil with krill oil. That is how the label should read, not just "Krill Oil". That is deceptive, if not false, advertising. Almost like when you buy Grape juice and find out that the larger percentage of the juice is apple juice EXCEPT that when you look on the main label that there will be something mentioning other natural ingredients/flavors. This product does not have that.Maybe this is a good product but I specifically wanted Krill oil for its better nutritional value. If it was, it would not have to read "Fortified with Astaxanthin" as the label on the posting says. Mine reads "Contains the Antioxidant Astaxanthin." (My label also lacks the statement regarding being tested for heavy metals, pesticides, etc.) Ingredient listing wise, the Phospholipid amount is slightly higher at 420mg (posting suggests 400) but the Oleic Acid is quite a bit less at 60mg (posting suggests 85) and Linoleic Acid is 10mg (posting suggests 20). Maybe these fluctuate with the harvest/batch but somehow the EPA/DHA are the same.I have not decided if I am going to return it because I should have squinted a little harder to read the picture of the label and should have been suspicious of the disclaimer.

Excellent product
I've been using Olympian Labs krill for at least 5 years now, probably longer. At the time I started using it there were fewer products available than there are now. I chose Olympian Labs because of the high astaxanthin and phospholipid content, and because it was cold extracted while most products don't advertise how they're extracted. Yes it has fish oil listed in the ingredients but the quantity can't be much or else the phospholipid and astaxanthin content wouldn't be so high. In all these years of taking daily I've never had a bottle go rancid (I store in the fridge just in case) and only one bottle with a broken capsule.I take this product mostly for improvements in skin health and also because heart disease runs in my family. I take only one capsule per day with food. I haven't tried many other products so I can't compare it to other brands, but I know its working because if I stop taking it for long I develop mild eczema and my skin is noticeably drier. I notice no fishy burbs ever, or any other side effects.

Seems good for PCOS
First of all, those who left 1 star ratings are obviously not strong readers. What is so difficult to understand 1000mg/serving, 60 softgels, 2 softgels/serving? Or was something obscured before that is obvious now (it is even posted in the title line now). Quite basic math, and common with many supplements. I wanted a 500mg capsule, so this is perfect.Vitamin A and carotenoids seem to make a big impact on PCOS, and after taking only one bottle of this, my ultrasound results came back completely normal (no visual symptoms of the disease) for the first time since it was discovered.

Each bottle had problems
We usually trust the Olympian Labs label and have, and continue to use many of their supplements. We added their krill Oil to our Subscribe and Save order, and got it three times over three months. Each bottle had at least one broken soft gel in it and the gooey stuff got all over the other gels and the taste was lousy. We thought perhaps all Krill was like this but no. We've now purchased Schiff and even the house brand at Costo and found the soft gel quality to be better. I am sure the OL brand is good quality, but the gels are inferior. Perhaps OL will improve the product. For now, we've cancelled our subscription.

No fish burps
I have been searching for a krill oil that you don't taste later on and this krill oil is brilliant!! I have been taking it to see if it will have an effect on cholesterol readings so will see.

Great Product, Sometimes Daunting Aroma
Yes, smells fishy sometimes, when one of the capsules leaks a bit. But no backdraft after you take it, and they go to lengths to avoid the pollution that poisons most of the planet.

Greater integrity of manufacture than many other krill oils out there. More actual krill oil in the krill/fish blend. Contains the needed proportion of important Anstaxanthin at 1.5 mg.
