Love this unit, very sturdy and great quality. All the pieces were there and instructions easy to follow, though I did cheat and got a professional in to put it together for me. The only gripe was that the holes at the back of the unit weren’t quite big enough for the plugs for the video and DVD player to fit through but overall really pleased.

A fantastic price for solid wood - and waxed - good quality furniture. The assembly instructions are sufficient, although they can be confusing at times. The assembly process itself can be awkward and difficult - especially near the end - largely due to having to screw pieces together properly at odd and uncomfortable angles. The design in that sense could be improved, but it is still totally worth it, in my opinion. The round black nobs you'll see on the front-edges of some models (including mine) are purely decorative (i.e. not caps to cover screws or bolts or whatever).

This is one proper solid tv unit for the money my parents got one around 7 years ago now and theirs is still holding up well even with the little ones attacking it and i appreciate the fact the shelf is big enough to fit a standard av receiver. My only complaints is none of the pieces was labelled so had to triple check the images for hole positions, and it was covered in saw dust would appreciate it if the manufacturer just did a quick vacuum on it to reduce mess for the customer and mine had a scratch on the shelf shown in the image but im not bothered about that as stuff covers it anyway.

Be prepared for a jigsaw because not a single piece is labelled. That being said, I built it alone in about an hour. Very solid piece of furniture big enough for a 43" TV, Xbox, virgin box etc and 2 handy drawers underneath. Perfect height to watch TV too unlike some other lower units.

My husband found it relatively easy to build (he is in mid 70"s) took him around 1.5 hours gorgeous TV stand in have also purchased matching large coffee table. Love colour. He's only gripe was that every screw ect is marked with a letter but parts you have to identify yourself !! Would have took seller mins to put ABC ect stickers on each part

This is a nice unit, but be aware, mine arrived with a chip in the corner. Nit the biggest problem though, if you have appliances than need to go into the unit, like freeview or a DVD player, make sure the plug is not attached permanently to the appliances as the holes at the back are not big enough for a standard 3 pin plug to go through.

It says that you require two people to assemble this cabinet, I did it myself but it obviously took a lot longer. The reason the cabinet is so sturdy is the amount of screws ( 124 different types to be exact) the instructions are very clear and concise.
