I love this pillow. I bought it because I got new cartilage piercings in both my ears so can’t sleep on them for a long while. This pillow had much larger holes than many others. I got the two hole pillow so I could flip sleeping sides and not have to move the pillow and when I want to lay on my back, the holes line up perfectly to my ears so they’re not touching anything. It’s just the right firmness/softness imo and gives me good support. I see myself using this pillow even after I don’t ‘have’ to use it anymore. Edited to say that when I went to wash the cover, it only has a zipper on one hole. The other hole is stitched all the way around. I thought maybe the pillow was sliced so it can be pulled around the hole, but it doesn’t. If there’s a way to get it off with one zippered hole and one sealed hole, I can’t figure it out. Have started for a return/exchange so I’ll see if the replacement is the same. Last edit. Received my replacement. First thing checked the zippers. Same as before, but now I see why people had complaints about the zippers. These ones open smoothly and all the way. I didn’t even realize the last one was supposed to open all the way because they felt like they had stopping points hence not being able to get the cover off. So zipper issue resolved. Still love the pillow. Awesome customer service getting a replacement so soon and easy Amazon return at a UPS store.

I slept for a complete 8 hours with this pillow in over a month on my second night! My ears are sensitive, I have had to leave good quality stud earrings in because my earlobe ear piercings started to close. I'll have to do this for 6-8 weeks. I couldn't sleep for long without tossing & turning because of ear & ear piercing sensitivity. This pillow is about standard size and has 2 offset ear holes, one on each side. I wanted to use a cotton pillow case on it for easy care & cleanliness. It fits a standard or queen size pillow case almost perfectly. I can smunch the pillow case into the holes & my ear can still fill the divoted area without sensitivity. The pillow is a bit hard, but I feel it needs to be in order to support the ear/head & maintain ample support for posture reasons. I am a short woman but have medium sized shoulders. I am only 5'1" and the holes are spaced correctly for me. The holes are off center vertically for different size people. I'm hoping that with continued use my sleep will be longer & deeper. I will adjust the review if I don't get continued results. I've only had it 2 nights thus far. For the price it was a wise investment as my pain relief has been great. My ear piercings have not bothered me & sensitivity has been greatly reduced. There was a sight smell, but I put it in my dryer on low heat with a lavender oil scented dryer ball for 30 minutes - no smell & fluffed pillow in 30 minutes. The pillow seems functional because of 2 holes. I can cover it with a standard cotton pillow case making it easy to clean. I can sleep easily on either side & flip easily from side to side. I also find the pillow comfortable for back & belly sleep. Because of the spacing of the 2 holes, the center is a little softer than the edges. It works great for me & feel in time I will find more comfort with it being a bit firmer pillow.

For me, this pillow is a perfect height and firmness. I don't like sinking into a pillow because it can feel hot and smothering. This pillow is supportive without being hard. But the brilliant design of the pillowcase is my favorite part. This is the only ear hole pillow I've seen that is designed to be used on either side. So when one side gets warm, just turn it over. The pillowcase lines the holes from both sides so it is held taut in the hole. (Hard to describe, but if you look at the pictures, you can see the hole in the pillowcase goes all the way through.) It's not just a "cup" on one side that is stuffed into the hole. Since it's held taut, I don't feel the wrinkles and seams on my face as I have with all the others. I have covered the pillow, and its brilliant pillowcase, with a "cooling" stretchable pillowcase (sold on Amazon). It has enough give to let your ear sink into the hole. By the way, if the ear hole is too high for you, you can make it longer with an electric knife. This is my holy grail pillow!

I gave it 3 stars because it's a well made pillow. However, this is like sleeping in a rock with 2 holes. I like pillows with some firmness to them, but this is ridiculous!! Even my jaw was hurting in the morning. I was really looking forward to receiving the pillow, so i was very dissapointed that i couldn't sleep in it.

6/12/25 EDIT: Removing two stars because 3 mos later the zipper inside the ear hole broke. I went here to try and get a replacement cover and NOPE. None. There is another brand of similar pillow, Blissbury, which offers replacement covers for their near identical pillow. I ordered one and it fits, but barely. Unlike the case that comes with this pillow, there is no zipper. While that might seem like a good thing it means the pillow can only be used on one side, vs being able to flip it and use both sides. I actually have come to love this pillow, even without piercings. I never thought I’d like a firm pillow, but the support is great and I sometimes need to sleep with my Acoustic Sheep sleep-phones, and this pillow prevents ear soreness. It’s too bad they don’t offer replacement cases. It’s quite ridiculous, actually. I wasn’t thinking when I got two piercings in my right ear and one on my left at the same time. I absolutely cannot sleep on my back, so one piercing stayed painful and swollen since I was laying on it. After trying another pillow that had high reviews on Amazon and finding it truly fell flat, I was hesitant to buy another one. However, this one proved to be worth the buy. If you are used to a really soft pillow you probably won’t like this one. It is firm, but it has to be to provide neck support while also not sinking so low that your ear touches the bed. What’s nice about the hole positioning is that flipping it one way allows for people with shorter necks to use the holes appropriately, while the other way allows for longer necked folks to use the holes. After taking it out of the shrink wrap it took about 30 minutes to completely fluff up. There was no pungent odor, either. The only reason for four stars vs five is the cost. I don’t think this pillow should be more than $29. It’s marked up due to it being novel.

I love this pillow so much but it only has a zip in one ear hole so you can't take it off and wash it. It is very firm but I don't have a problem with firm pillows. The size is amazing and the spacing of the holes is perfect if you've had both ears pierced, which I did.. and I switch sides a lot when I'm sleeping. I just wish I could wash the cover. It looks like the bamboo one had a zip in each hole but I bought the satin one and it does not.***UPDATE*** Nevermind, I'm an idiot, you can just pull the whole cover through the hole that's without a zip, once you have everything unzipped. So therefore, I love it, it's perfect. It would be nice if you could buy extra covers, though.

Most uncomfortable , very heavy, way to thick, hot, very firm. Just not for me, waste of money.

I was developing a sore on one of my ear folds from my pillows. Tried several types. This one fixed it and I have no more ear discomfort.
