Close enough to 30 seconds - NICE and BIG
bought this to use at poker tournaments, just received it. very happy with it - haven't played a tournament with it yet - but hope to soon.I timed it against a stop watch and it was very close to 30 seconds - like 31 seconds - not accurate enough for aerospace standards but good enough for board games and such.I did not rate durability because i have only had it for a week or two - but it seems reasonably well made enough. Probably 4 stars.}the inner workings are made of glass - careful with kids younger than 7.

its supposed to do one thing, and it cant even do that..
im not sure what the issue is... either the hole is too small, or the sand is somewhat larger than it should be.. it keeps clotting and i have to end up taping the top to get it rolling again.. its a pain in the ass basically.. doesnt work as intended.

Not an accurate timer
Although it is labeled as a two minute timer, it is actually a three minute timer. This was disappointing because I specifically needed a two minute timer.

Accurate and good visual
Very accurate! Really impressed. I love this for having my patients time their mouth rinsing and brushing! It is a big visual aid, and they appreciate it too.

Great for toddler!
This is not made out of glass so it's more durable. I like this timer because my daughter just love staring at it. It is also a great tool to use for teeth brushing, so they know how long 2 mins is. Recommended toy to get!

Out of control meetings
Fun and serves its purpose well.We use this in our morning stand up meetings for pacing and reigning in those prone to over speak. Whether or not you buy into this meeting style, this item is exactly what you’d expect it to be - for that, 5 stars.

Good product
This is a nice sturdy timer, but the sand is not easily visible on the bottom because they are the same color. I like seeing the sand contrast with a white bottom. It is accurate on timing.

Cute and durable
I bought this for my five-year-old granddaughter after she broke her big sisters glass hourglass. It is sturdy and the sand sparkles. She was thrilled .

Excellent
Brilliant. Bought this to time my 5 and 7 year old, 15 min at the table, 15 min school work. 15 minutes reading at night. Very sturdy, good size and bright colour. We all love it
