We expanded our garden into several new spaces, so we have put up quite a few shade canopies this year (by we, I mean my husband has put them up, although I am occasionally called upon to stand there and hold something for a few minutes). He has put up so many that he has gotten quite good at it and it goes pretty quickly. They are working so well to protect our plants from too much sun and heat but still letting enough light in for the plants to grow well, that we decided to put some up over the windows around our home and to extend the patio roof. This shade (the 20' X20' X 20' triangle, I made of 260 gsm fabric so it is considerably thicker and has more weight than some of our other shades that are 160 or 185 gsm. But this isn't so heavy that it is hard to install or maintain. We did use an installation kit with the necessary hardware for a nicer, more professional looking installation, because this is a more permanent installation than some of the others which are only up for the growing season, and get moved around once in a while. This is a great cover for an outdoor seating area in our backyard that is otherwise little used in our very hot summers. The quality of the fabric and reinforced stitching is excellent and my husband says that the A-ring design is superior to the design on some of other other shade sails -- it is stronger and very sturdy. I ordered the sand color which is a pale yellowish tan, exactly as I expected and I think it looks very nice. The fabric is textured and they way it is woven gives it a subtle striped look. The fabric is permeable to rain so there are no issues with water pooling and stretching or straining the sail. The sail is holding up very well to intense sunshine, very windy conditions and one rainstorm with no fading, fraying or tears. The current price of $88.00 (for the size & color I chose) seems very reasonable.

Great sun shade! Measurements were correct, blocks the sun, no defects, no complaints. We bought our own hardware since we were mounting this over our second backyard entrance which just has a seating area with no close third anchor pint for this sunshade to be mounted with. We had removed a couple oak trees from our yard and didn’t realize how much sun that area was getting until after our daughter got a second degree burn when she touch one of the pieces of patio furniture. We had an umbrella set up, but clearly it wasn’t enough coverage, and we knew we needed to get something to block more of the sun to prevent the furniture from overheating in the afternoon, but would allow our grass to get enough sun to thrive. This shade has been the perfect solution to protecting our kids from future burn injuries, while allowing our yard enough light to thrive. Would highly recommend!

This is a great sail that provides a good deal of shade for my deck. The quality is very good. I purchased the E&K Sunrise Sun Shade Sail Canopy Installation Complete Hardware Kit- for Triangle Sun Shade Sail Installation- 8 Inches, Stainless Steel, Super Heavy Duty Set of 1 and the person who installed this for me said it made things easier. I'm hoping that the components all hold up to rain without rusting. Time will tell. I will update if I have any issues.
