A real CPAP find......
I needed a battery for my CPAP, mainly for any overnight/long haul flights, where there isn't an available power socket (NB: I have not checked with any airline that I can take this on-board as some airlines, such as Virgin, don;t even allow CPAP use without prior consent). The official ResMed battery in the UK is £480 inc VAT, which is a complete rip-off and exploitative, and gives you up to 2 nights back up. I found this product for £315 (saving of £165), and checked out the company web-site to make sure it's not some fly by night. It's a Norwegian company that seem to supply industrial power solutions. So I decided to buy one. It has a handle and is relatively easy to carry, but note it is quite heavy at 4lb for it's size. It also appeals as can be used to power laptops/phones and not just the CPAP. I use a Resmed Airsense 10. Once purchased, they contacted me prior to despatch to check it was compatible with my machine. It came well packaged and with a number of connections. You have to check you have connected to the right voltage. I charged for around 4 hours to get it to 100% on the display (it came part-charged) and used it last night. The down side was that when turning on and selecting voltage it does 'beep' which was annoying as my partner was asleep, so next time I will make sure it is connected before we retire. The upside was that it worked perfectly throughout the night and records 80% of power left this morning ( I hade around 8 hours sleep) so this machine will give up to 5 nights sleep, as opposed to ResMed's 2 nights for more money. So bottom line....can't fault it at the moment and very pleased with purchase. Will update here if anything negative comes out over the next few months but certainly pleased at moment.

Perfect battery backkup for CPAP machine
Living in an area where the are frequent power outages during the winter, I searched and searched for a compact battery backup for my CPAP machine. Finally I found this one on Amazon.uk. (Amazon.es only had a very expensive HUGE machine, proper for large appliance, other suppliers on and offline were the same.) Amazon.uk supplied this rapidly and relatively inexpensively. Absolutely portable although it does weigh a bit, it also is useful for charging cellphones and laptops, takes up very little space on my bedside table and has a good, longlasting charge. I highly recommend it.

real-world review - will do the job - but a few downsides
First impression - a LOT smaller and lighter than I was expecting. Was concerned at first it might not do the job.Arrived at 85% charged. So I plugged it in and left it for a couple of hours to 100%. Nice LCD screen on the front.Real-world use - first night from 100%Resmed airsense 10 elitesetting= 12.5 with humidifier.8hrs overnight. Worked silently as expected WITH HUMIDIFIER- I wanted to see what would happen if I made no changes to my mains AC normal usage.end result - 33% power left after 8 hrs.Charged back to 100% after 3 hrs plugged in to the mains.I would be reluctant to go for a second night with this configuration and why would I want to use CPAP any other way and get sore throat etc? However, my usage requirement is for emergency use and single nights away in a camper etc, so I could easily recharge it from Inverter or mains in restaurant/pub etc for multi-night usePros: Does the job. Silent, small, discrete. Looks well designed.Cons: Why oh why didn't they make it with more outlets? Its just a giant Li-ion battery pack with battery controller after all! I have an eBike too - I'd LOVE to be able to use it with that and just extend the use/range when I go out on it using this thing - such a simple thing to include! Can't seem to have it charging at the same time as discharging ie cant have it plugged in for fail-over use at night in the event of a power cut. Again, a simple thing to fix surely? Basically, its either charging, or discharging (in use).Lack of outlets. I know I bought it for a specific purpose, but why not add in an inverter so it can power AC things? And laptops?!If it had these facilities I would have given 5 stars, despite the high cost. It's also quite expensive for what it is, but I didn't want to risk it with a cheap alternative that might not do the job.verdict: does the job., quite expensive, dont expect it to realistically do much more.

Astonishing battery life
I use this with my CPAP machine (ResMed S9) when I'm camping. It's brilliant. On a full charge it will last five nights (with still some spare - I haven't gone beyond this). Good design, with easy to carry handle. Came supplied with a range of connectors for different machines. It's heavy though, which means that I'd struggle to carry it when backpacking.

stopped working after two trys
This worked pretty well at first but very quickly it stopped working. It is fully chargable but its doesnt recognise any of my devices anymore. It doesnt start up when plugged in or give charge any more, its just stuck at 100%. This was a complete waste of money . I would love to know if i could get it fixed

Very good battery for Cpap users
The media could not be loaded. Very good battery pack. It comes with leads for several different cpap devices. I used it with the respironics system one and it works fine. I managed to get 36 hours of use out of one charge (I do not use a humidifier) and it took aound 5 hours to charge up from empty. It beeps when it gets down to one percent so will wake you up if it is running out of power. Very impressed would reccomend to anyone who is looking for a battery backup or to use when power is not available. Can also be used to charge other devices as there is a USB port as well. My only minor criticism would be that it would be great if it came with a bag but it does not.
