Kipawa 853 High Performance Weedless Propeller for 50-70 Thrust 2005 and Newer Minn Kota Motors

Bought this prop to replace the stock prop that came with my endura 55lb thrust. The stock blade was good, yet just did not seem to have what it took to push my boat and had a lot of vibration. This prop is exactly what I have been wanting. It is a little heavier than the minn kota props are, which gave me a bit of skepticism. However, what it lacks in less weight, it gains in performance. No more vibration as before. Not to mention that once the prop gets moving.. yes it does take a second or two longer for this blade to get speed, it is much easier to maintain direction in the wind and to keep your course. I would have to say that this blade does move my 14' mirrocraft fully loaded with gear and two fat ole buzzards, around very well. Much better than the stock blade was. The stock blade was faster to move you, but the kipawa blade has more over all speed, you can actually feel the increase in power, due to the 3 blades on this prop moving the water.. REVERSE is amazing on the 3rd gear. Be sure to have your motor very tightened to your boat, or it will pop off, this has that much more power in high gear.

I installed this prop on my Minn Kota Endura Max 55lb. The installation was straight forward, just like replacing an original prop. Just take your time here and get the proper torque on the bolt/washer combo. The prop runs true without any vibration throughout the speed range. I run a 100AH LiFePO4 battery on my 12 ft jon boat. Battery life is not effected by the larger three blade prop .When I'm going to where I need to go I run at 100% throttle. There is a noticeable increase in forward speed with this prop. But, where it really excels is in reverse. I can back away from the shore/dock with authority. The stock prop was really lacking there. Also, when I chop through the salad the prop resists fouling but when it loads up I just shift to reverse. It clears itself immediately and throws out a pretty ring of weed debris. That is fun to see. This prop should be standard on the Minn Kota Endura Max. I use my gas outboard much less because of this modificaton. DW

I bought this prop and it require a little sanding on the main face to get the nut seated fully. Aside from that, no issues. this operates fairly weedless. I have noticed an increase in speed and in force pushing the boat. Great addition to replace a standard Minn Kota two blade prop!

When I bought this prop I really wasn’t sure how good it would preform.. But OMG this prop is a total game changer. The power it provides is incredible. Don’t believe all of the negative feedback, before I bought this prop, I had a stock prop on my Minnkota Endura max 55 pound thrust and when I would hit reverse and it seem to take forever to back up in my pelican bass raider 10-e. Not anymore!!!! Since I put this prop on what used to take me on level five forever now takes me two seconds on number two. Do yourself a favor and buy this prop. You will not be disappointed. I guarantee it.!!!!!!!!!

I bought this to improve my low speed settings for responsiveness. I have a Mimm Kota 55lb thrust 55 inch motor on a 15 foot aluminum Klamath. It’s mounted on the front left side. With my throttle setting at 50% there is a big difference on responsiveness for steering where the stock 2 blade would take almost 75% to get the same results. Reverse is where this 3 blade excels. Night and day difference from the 2 blade. I have noticed that after a day of fishing my battery use has decreased from 50 to 70% use to maybe 40 to 60%. Not really that much difference. On my boat I could not tell any difference in top speed from the 2 blade. However lower speeds it’s definately more responsive and reverse is really noticeable. I did have to use a small flat washer to take up some slack when installing. Zero vibration at any speed setting. Going to get a 3 blade for my 36lb thrust also.

This is the best replacement propeller on the market today. I have two boats with trolling motors, each has a Kipawa propeller. what I like is that it adds 15% thrust and saves 10% on battery life. That is a lot when you are on the lake all day and not have to worry about power and batteries. I will continue to recommend Kipawa propellers to any one that uses an electric trolling motor. Their customer service is top notch, hard to find these days. Keep ip the great work!

This prop worked wonders on my minn Kota Endura Max with 55lbs of thrust. It got me everywhere I needed to go and it also got through some heavy weeds in a lagoon I fished. I highly recommend this over the stock prop. I averaged about 6 mph with my trolling motor on my small 2 man bass boat. The battery barely had a dent in its life time as well.

Vibration at mid range trolling speed shakes the entire boat. Ho hum forward speed compared to stock Minn Kota prop on 55 lbs thrust stern mount. Better reverse speed than stock two blade prop. possible better weed use but bad vibration at trolling speed a deal breaker. Took it off and put the stock prop back on.
