This is a great bag. It's worth the money and is very well made. The fabric is thick and the zippers are sturdy. It's nice and roomy with multiple pockets, and can be used for many items. It can comfortably be worn as a chest bag or fanny pack. It unfortunately didn't work out for my needs as a CCL holder I was looking for a bag to carry my security 9 in. It does have a pocket lined with velcro, but it was in the wrong position for me when I draw. Even with my weapon in it there was still plenty of room to carry others items.. keys, chap stick, phone, money/cards and ID.. essentials needed for daily use. It can easily function as a purse.

The Alpaka Go Sling Mini was the perfect bag for me. It held exactly what I needed, fit me perfectly. The material is stiff but comparable, and the zippers haven’t snagged a single time. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase!

Very nice bag overall with good materials, build, and just the right amount of organization for me. It's almost exactly what I want for a daily carry and a personal item to keep with me when going through an airport and at my seat on flights. To make it perfect for me, though, I would need the main pocket to be a bit wider and for there to be some minor adjustments to the strap. It feels like there is about a .25 inch of padding on each side of the main pocket, which does make the main pocket feel a bit smaller than you would expect. If you want to carry water you can fit an insulated water bottle (about a 3 Inch diameter) in the main pocket, but if you have anything else in the bag it feels tight. A 12 oz deer park bottle (pictured; 2.5 inch diameter; 6.25 inch height) fits more comfortably, but it depends on how you pack out the bag. Along with my kindle in the picture I have most of my items packed on the lefts side of the front pocket, so it doesn't interfere with where the bottle is. If I had packed that stuff on the right with the bottle it would feel tight. It appears that .5 inch of padding is just enough that it prevents insulated bottles, like a hydroflask, from fitting comfortably, though you can do it so what is tight from my perspective might be fine for others. You can also always clip a bottle to the d ring on the bottom or the straps on the side if you don't mind it swinging around. I'm not a huge fan of the swinging, but it is a sling, and is meant to be more compact, so as far as carrying water is concerned compromises need to be made. I am looking for a more stable way to connect a water bottle to the outside of the bag without it swinging around, though. The biggest problem I have with the bag is that the strap gradually loosens. When the bag is under tension the strap doesn't move, but when you lay it on a table it eases the tension and when you pick it back up it tends to extend just a little bit. It's not much but eventually you will have to retighten the strap. The elastic strap keepers also move around more than I'd like when you use them like you would expect to, with just the strap and a single layer of the excess held by the keeper (like in the picture on the product page). To address the keepers moving I've been doubling or tripling the excess strap so the elastic holds more tightly (see pictures). This also helps prevent the strap from loosening as much because the latch hits the excess strap instead of sliding further down the strap when you pick it up. It would also be nice if the strap could be removed entirely like on the Go Sling or the Go Sling Nano and had a way to quickly adjust the strap length more quickly and easily. As it is you set the strap and hope to never have to fiddle with it. These complaints are minor annoyances, and this sling hits the right balance on a lot of things for me. The size is big enough to hold my things, but not so big that I feel like I should just grab a backpack instead. The organization is not so much that it feels like a tech pouch where it can't fit thicker items in, but not so empty that everything just slides everywhere. I also knew that I wanted the sling to hold my kindle regularly, and a lot of slings either weren't tall enough (most of the other slings I looked at were designed to fit an iPad mini which is 5.3" wide while my kindle oasis is 5.6"; very close but it made a difference frequently) or didn't have a dedicated pocket that would fit a tablet at all. I also wanted a good level of water resistance for storms, a passport pocket on the rear of the bag close to the body, and a brightly lined interior for visibility. I also like the small extras the bag has, like the magnetic key leash and Fidlock latch. So as long as you deal with some small drawbacks it's a great bag.

This is my first time using an alpaka sling bag. The product is strong and very good to make. It's perfect for a day out. And the delivery is very fast, so I'm very satisfied. However, one thing that's unfortunate is that the strap is made very well, but the overall weight of the bag is a little heavy.

Great bag for my everyday carry items. Plenty of room for tech, small tools, extra hygiene products, etc. I like the key tether as I almost never need to take my keys out, but it's nice to not need to rummage around if I do. Also, paired well with the Hub Pouch for organization of little essentials that would otherwise be annoying to find in the larger bag. I also like the light grey lining. I almost wish I could have had the Xpac version, but the orange lining isn't my cup of tea. The light grey keeps all my items easily visible. As others said, the Fidlock isn't always the most comfortable, but I don't have any problem one handing it for detaching.

A little too rigid but still a fantastic bag! Love the waterproof zippers and the back pocket. Also didn’t know it but it passed the 10-month old Australian Shepherd test: zoomies and chew proof apparently!

The Go Sling Mini Green has a great overall design and well-organized pockets, but I found the strap to be a significant drawback. The magnetic quick-release mechanism is bulky and uncomfortable, especially when the bag is fully loaded. Its placement near the middle of the strap makes it harder to adjust while wearing and prevents the strap from wrapping comfortably around one's back, making it uncomfortable. Additionally, the strap is not removable, which limits versatility compared to other bags from Alpaka. A removable strap would allow users to customize the bag or replace the strap with a more comfortable option. For the weight this bag can carry, a padded strap would have been a welcome improvement, as the current strap design doesn’t provide enough comfort for prolonged wear. While the bag’s layout and aesthetics are solid, the discomfort caused by the strap design significantly affects its usability. With some changes, such as a padded or removable strap and a repositioned quick-release mechanism, this bag could be much better.
