I didn't try psvita
Took me while to learn this product. I give it a 5/5 if there were proper instructions. The price was unfair. Should have come with 512gd sd with the price they ask or 12gd ram version. Overall a 4/5. Plays all my back up games with no issues except the some games for gamecube and Ps2. Don't recommend this for wii u. Wii u is awful. I recommend YouTube videos if dont know what you are doing.

Amazing device.
Last month I purchased my first retro gaming handheld. One of Anbernics budget ones. I was throughly impressed with it. I came across this one as it has the nostalgia feel of the old gameboy. For me there are some pros and cons to this one vs one of the budget ones. If you want a handheld to just turn on and play the stock game and still be able to add your own. Get one of those. This one here, in a way it’s simple but it’s not at the same time. This handheld right here is amazing. Beautiful display. Big screen. Nice buttons and touch screen. This did not come with an sd card, so no games were included. It has internal storage with an sd slot. This is where I say get a budget handheld if you just simply want to play. This device runs on android 14, I’m not used to android anymore. So I had an sd card laying around, I added roms like I did for my other device. Thinking it would just show up like my other one does. It does not. You have to find the emulator which is loaded on it, and find the file/folder and direct the emulator to find the rom to be able to play it. Hopefully you won’t come across any errors like “missing bios” because the. You need to go find the correct ones online and load it on to the device. It becomes a rabbit hole trying to get it to play. But once you do get it to load a game and olay. WOW!!! Currently I am playing a PS2 game that I loved 20yrs ago. This handheld can play all the old games, up to switch. To play other games, you may need to download on install some emulators and find the right bios packs and the roms for the game. It’s a process but worth it in the end. I personally wouldn’t recommend this handheld to a beginner, who just wants to play retro games. I would recommend this device to someone who has experience and knows what they are doing. It’s a great device. Long battery life. You can stream to a external monitor and play this like it is a console. You can also download apps like a normal android device through the play store and be able to search the internet. Which I believe you can also download roms directly to it vs using a computer. It is an elegant and high end looking device. Full glass front which is a turn on and turn off as it looks great but is also a finger print magnet. So keep a microfiber cloth with you. They do make screen protectors for it and cases and what not. There are a couple different versions a 8gb/128gb and 12gb/255gb. During my research it is recommended to get the 12gb/256gb for the new age games, but says it’s not really recommended it’s just nice to have the extra power. All in all, for what you get with this device. It is well worth the money and is a great value. Keep this is mind, there are some legality issues with diwnloading certain games, so play at your own risk.

Lots of fun once configured
The Anbernic RG477V is powerful enough to run most emulators smoothly. It has a sharp 4.7 inch touchscreen and a hefty processor that makes gameplay fun and seamless. My unit came with many preinstalled emulators but no games were included which surprised me. It does a great job running classic games and it also has full access to the playstore. It is well designed and the materials feel high quality. This particular unit is best suited for experienced gamers and tech enthusiasts who are more comfortable with side loading and customization. This is not exactly a plug and play experience.

Great handheld, but a bit overpriced
It's a nice handheld, but for the price, you can do better. I would say this should cost at MOST around $220 shipped with Prime. I returned mine, but there's really nothing "wrong" with it, just thought I paid too much and ended up getting something else. If you want to save money and get basically the same screen quality, check out the RG Slide or the RG476H. Bit of a dropoff on processor power on paper, but in practice you won't notice the difference.
