Are there plans to make the Google Home app function as well as the Nest app?

can it be hook up to a pc

The new Nest cameras are exclusive to the home app. We’re aware that longtime Nest users enjoy having the option to view their Nest camera feeds from the web using a laptop or PC, and we are working on adding this experience. However, our priority with this launch was building a complete experience for our new cameras and doorbell in the Google Home app.
