Hello, i’m looking to buy the skirmish hydration plus cargo pack; is the condor outdoor slim battle belt is compatible, or other camelbak type?

Thanks for writing in. Not sure about the Condor battle belt; but, this pack is pretty conventional in the way it rides on your back and hips. If you don't use the attached waist belt, you should have no problem wearing some other battle belt along with the pack.

thinking of buying this pack for a ski trip in Montana. Is this pack is too bulking for glade/tree runs?

It is a larger pack, along the lines of a 72 hour patrol pack. Smaller than a full sized ruck, but bigger than a common school backpack.

Is this a pack that would be good for everyday use, like school?

I purchased it for my son in college for that reason. Might not have enough storage space for lots of books, though.

Can you remove the hip belt/strap on this backpack?

There is no quick disconnect for the belt strap, but there is a built in pocket that you can stuff each end of the belt into to keep it hidden and out of the way. It is at the bottom and well padded so you would never know the belt is in there. hth
