Plantar Fasciitis
I bought this for my mom as a Christmas present last year. She has really bad plantar fasciitis and used it every day, all day, and it lasted for ALMOST an entire year. The right bag that massages the calf either broke or moved, and it kind of hurts her now. I have used this personally a few times and the pressure, massage, and heat is AMAZING. The buttons are simple to use and easy to understand. Yea this item is a little bulky but it’s worth the massage, trust me. Overall this massager functions well, and is amazing. I just wish it lasted a little longer!! I will be re-purchasing!!!

As close to a real massage as I’ve experienced.
I’m 6 ft, athletic build -size 11.5 foot- and typically very particular about product features and want the most out of products. I went with Human touch because of their longevity in the industry. What I find intriguing about this massager is its simplicity and the way it mimics the hands of an actual masseuse. A good foot massager (in real life) provides both targeted pressure in a specific place and also will switch to creating multiple sensations at once, such as squeezing the foot while also rubbing a specific area. To my knowledge, this massager is the only one that doesn’t use airbags to massage the lower calf and sides of the feet, rather, it uses a complex blade/roller system that creates a “wave” like sensation that works in unison across the foot, under the foot, and the lower calf. Each setting is unique—and I find that it’s like going to the pedicure place and getting a different person each time, each with their own “signature” way. I like this novelty. I wish that the calf massage went about 2 inches higher to hit the meaty part of my calf, but that’s ok. Where the massager does focus on my lower calf is the right area above the Achilles’ tendon and it hits it just right. Here’s the proof of the pudding to me: after a couple of rounds in this massager, I walk with an appreciation of the “before and after”—its tangible. As well: I find that I lament when the massage is over. I want to do another. And another. Last, I’ve fallen asleep to the massage. Great product so far.

Nice but not for everyone
Disappointed with the heat function. Just not what I expected for the extra cost. Got this for my hubby because he is on his feet almost all day. Unfortunately, he finds this very uncomfortable for his size 10 1/2 feet and doesn’t care to use it. We kept it because my feet seem to do fine in it, although the first 30 secs or so can be challenging. But once you get used to it, it seems relaxing for me. Offers various control options which is really nice. Doesn’t actually massage the calves which I thought it would because the molds go high. All in all, at the price, which is a lot, I probably wouldn’t purchase this model again, but because I enjoy the foot massage, I would look for something a little more reasonable. This was nice but definitely not for everyone.

Sciatica nerve is less
We bought this as an early Christmas present to ourselves. My husband currently has bad sciatica nerve issues from back surgery. The bottom of his feet feel like he walks on glass. His calf’s are so tight. Oh and his big toe feels like it’s on fire. With about 3 weeks under his belt with using it multiple times a day, this machine has Significantly improved his pain! We still have months of recovery ahead for him. But this machine is surely helping! You can feel the nubs (for lack of proper words) gently rubbing the bottom of your feet. Love how you can change the intensity. Cons : it could be a little taller (we are both 5’10”) and comes below the back of our knees. And because of the weight of the machine- it is not easy to move it around. If they could somehow develop wheels on the back sides- that would be perfect. And the price….. it is pricey! Love the vibration and the warming effect-it’s very nice! I recommend this foot/leg massager !!

Complete Waste of Money - Avoid at All Costs
Complete Waste of Money - Avoid at All Costs I've had multiple experiences with this massager over the past few years, and every single one has been a disaster. Don't make the same expensive mistake I did. My first unit arrived with a manufacturing defect - the left leg compartment was completely wrong size, making it impossible to use both legs despite paying full price for a dual-leg massager. After returning that one, I gave them another chance thinking it was just bad luck. The replacement worked for about 6 months before developing a terrible electronic burning smell and dying completely. Foolishly, I tried one more time, only to have the exact same burning smell and failure happen again within another 6 months. The pattern was clear - this is a fundamentally flawed product with serious quality control issues. Even when I had a unit that seemed to work initially, it only lasted about 18 months before the mechanical components failed. When I took it apart, I found the bottom helical gear had completely separated from the axle, making the foot massage mechanism useless. For a $200+ product, having vital parts fail just outside warranty is unacceptable. The company's customer support is absolutely terrible. Once you're out of warranty (even by just 2 months), they offer zero help. No repair services, no replacement parts available, no discounts on replacements - nothing. I was willing to pay for repairs and shipping, but they don't even have repair facilities. Their website doesn't even have proper categories to report common issues like manufacturing defects. Even when the units work, the performance is disappointing compared to the marketing claims. The massage intensity is much weaker than advertised, the controls are confusing, and it's so loud you can't relax during use. After spending over $600 on multiple units and replacements, I'm left with nothing but expensive paperweights. The burning smells are concerning from a safety standpoint, the build quality is poor, and the company clearly doesn't stand behind their product. Save your money and invest in professional massages instead - you'll get better results and actual value for your money.

Excellent performance, pleasure to use, nice looking design
At first reluctant to believe that it was possible to make a consumer level product that was this effective. This device has my very positive upvote on the following points. * Sleek design. Zip out liner, washable. * Easy to use; easy to store in a closet under clothes hung on hangers; at 25 lbs and a bit bulky possibly for women to move but likely manageable * Meaningful, easy to reach controls (if you leave kind of hidden ON switch clicked ON at all times). I would not want the added complexity, clutter, and dead battery headaches of a remote for such an easy to use machine unless I had trouble reaching to touch my knees while seated. * On initial experience, the power is surprising, even alarming. I got used to it after several seconds and now would absolutely not want to settle for anything less. The designer knew what he/she was doing in my opinion. * Firm massage and vigorous vibration of toes, soles, heels, and more than half way up my calf; perfect in my case (180 lb, 5'-11", size 10 1/2 shoe). I suspect that the machine would adapt to a variety of foot and leg sizes both larger and smaller than mine. YMMV. * Invigorating. * Excellent and quiet to use whole seated and catching up on correspondence. * I do not need the heat and so did not try that. * Would _definitely_ buy again.

... Human touch Sol Foot and Calf massager does a pretty good job on feet and calves
The Human touch Sol Foot and Calf massager does a pretty good job on feet and calves. For me there are many things that could be im proved. This thing is heavy and it only has two very thin finger grips to pick it up. There should be cut outs on both sides so you entire hand could fit in to pick it up. The calf massager did very little for me because my legs are too thin. I fixed this by purchasing a 1/2 inch foam yoga mat and cutting it to fit inside both of the leg channels. Works good now nice and tight . You would think that the company would offer a foam sleeve for different thicknesses of peoples legs. The calf massage is very good if you have restless leg syndrome. I use it before going to bed and it seems to take care of it pretty well. The foam inserts also fix another issue that other reviewers have complained about and that is the excessive pressure to your feet. The foot has very little muscle tissue and this machine can be very painful if you do not position your feet exactly in the right spot. The foam fixes that perfectly. The on off switch is way down at the bottom which you can barely reach when you have your feet in the machine and you cannot see it so you have to feel around for it. Pretty stupid design. There is 4 rubber foot pads on the bottom that grip my carpet so that I cannot slide it around . I am going to try covering them with packing tape. The vibration mode for me is useless do not feel anything when it's on. Even with all of these issues the machine does a nice job of relaxing tired feet and legs. If you have restless leg syndrome give this machine a try. I am happy to have it when I need it.

BEST foot/calf massager EVER!
I tried one of these babies out several months ago when I was walking 20 miles a day. I have flat feet so every step after the 5th mile felt like death. Thankfully, a friend had one of these and she let me use it. It was the only way I managed to survive and recover for each new day's walk. Ever since that experience, I wanted one of these for myself. I am on my feet all day at work and that is killer for people who don't have an arch. By the end of the day, I've got shin splints and my ankle bones are touching the ground. It is excruciating! So, I was quite desperate for this massager. When I finally found out its name, I realized how expensive it is!!!! I felt defeated and gave up for several months. But, I finally had enough money just a few days ago, so I bought this and the SHIPPING WAS SO FAST!!!! I couldn't believe how quickly it arrived! I just got it today and immediately put it under my desk where I work in the evenings at my second job. I've been using it all afternoon while I work and it has helped relieved so much pain. Everything about this machine is amazing. The heat function and rolling/kneading action are the best features. The massage would be good by itself, but when it is combined with the heat, that's when I feel total relief during and after. YES, THE COST IS WORTH IT! You are worth it!
