Would it withstand the pressure of a pool pump 2 Hp so to run from pool to filter in

I would have no problem with that connection. I have to warn you that the pipe is rigid and that any sharp 90 degree bend may need a standard pvc fitting . I would also recommend that the pipe be rolled out in a the sun to help straighten it out and help make it more flexible. You may have to use pvc cement on any connections because of the pressure.

what is max pressure for pipe? I need something that can stand 200 psi

The working psi at 70 degrees Farenheit is approximately 60. This hose is not designed to withstand a high pressure of 200 psi. Thanks

I'm having trouble getting the fittings to slip onto the hose more then a half inch or so. Any suggestions?

Standard schedule 40 PVC fittings are about 3/4” in depth for the pipe to seat. I would twist, turn and wiggle the fitting the extra 1/4” you need. I tried to post photos but it would not allow me to.
