Durable, Comfortable and Cheap.
I've owned a lot of boots in my life and while I cannot speak to the 400-500 dollar boots that people swear by, for my budget, these are hands down the best I've ever owned. These photos are about 3 years in of regular use. Aside from scuffs and general weathering from use, they are holding up fantastic. They develop a nice "patina" after a while that I think looks great. Also, they are wildly comfortable and true to size from the start. The cushioning has worn down a little in the three years of use, but not nearly as much as most other shoes. I can probably get another 3-5 years out of these before I need to replace them. I'll probably just get a couple more pairs and put them in the closet. All for what? 75 bucks I think I paid? Absolutely worth it.

Worth the price, recommended and will buy again, but would love if they lasted longer.
I love these boots and have owned four pairs since 2017. Four pairs, worn most days of the week, both at work (office/warehouse) and outside, have lasted me me almost 10 years (since my current pair should last about one more year). I love the fit and the look. They look closer to traditional boots from the front and top when worn, but have firm soles with good traction like a work boot. After wearing them 12+ hours a day and walking miles, they feel great on my feet. Not too tight, not too loose. The color (dark brown) looks great with jeans or slacks. The only thing I wish is that they lasted longer. The rubber soles start to wear within the first six months**,** and by year two, while still fully intact and wearable, any imbalance in my feet clearly shows (round heels, worn-down treads on the outside, etc.). The leather over the main foot area lasts well as it only becomes smoother, but the upper (around the ankle area) does stretch with age/wear and is less supportive. I fully recommend these and will continue to buy a pair every 2–3 years, but I will also keep looking for a brand/model that looks as good but lasts longer.

Super high quality, comfortable yet without the super-high price!
I've worn these ankle boots for about 5 month now and could not be happier! They are easy to slip on without having to mess with laces, zippers or Velcro. Once on, they feel solid and move with my feet. I love the high quality look with 100% real leather uppers. They keep my feet warm in the winter (thicker socks add even more warmth). I love the out-sole made of high-quality, thick rubber. The lugs provide traction over any surface without marking floors. People think I am wearing high-end boots costing well over $300! I rarely advertise I bought these for a fraction of that. They are true to size and I'll definitely be buying more of these!

Love them
I absolutely love them. They look and fit great. I wear a 13 and the fit is great, which I worried about. If anything they're a touch roomy but not enough to worry about at all. I'm really happy with the looks, fit, and comfort.

Good, but rub my heel a bit (READ MY EDITED REVIEW!) (Second edits! more stars!)
These boots are pretty good. I was trying to find something in the style of Blundstones or Redbacks, but cheaper, and these boots basically fit that bill. There are a couple of things that I'm not uber-happy about, though: 1) the way the elastic is set up makes it so that your heel comes up a bit as you walk, and so after wearing them a full day, the back of my heel is raw... 2) I don't know why they stitched those strips of leather over the elastic gore. They look cheesy there. Just let the elastic show! 3) I prefer to have a sole of a different color than the upper (like Dr Martens). The sole of these boots matches the uppers perfectly, so there is no contrast. I just sort of think that makes them not as cool looking as I want them to be... None of these are absolute deal breakers, though, so I'd say these aren't too bad of a buy... EDIT (02/08/2013). I've been wearing these boots all winter (South Bend, Indiana), and I have a few additional comments. 1) they hold up to the weather great. I haven't waterproofed them, but they are pretty water repellent on their own. That's a major plus. 2) About the fit. I've discovered that the fit is greatly improved by wearing thicker-than-normal socks. I bought a few pairs of "boot socks". This prevents the "rubbing" at the back of the heel. 3) These boots look GREAT with dark, boot-cut jeans. The styling has grown on me for this context. They look pretty good with straight-legged dark khakis/chinos (grey, green, brown, black etc.). The key is the boot-cut/straight-leg and the dark color. If you try to wear them with light colored pants and/or with a tapered/relaxed leg, they just look kind of goofy. The cuff of the pant catches on the pull and it looks like you don't know how to put on your pants. The all-black color of the boots really looks bad with light colors (tan khaki's, or light blue jeans). In the right context, however, I now think these boots can look really good, and I'm more happy with my purchase now than I was at first. I've upgraded my revieww from three to four stars! EDIT (06/09/2014). Another year gone, another winter past, and this time, several Arctic Vortexes to boot! These boots held up through all of that. I moved to Pittsburgh, PA, and wore these boots every day this winter. PGH is a great city, but man, do they not take care of their roads and sidewalks! Potholes, loose gravel, ice, salt, ankle-deep puddles! These boots took them all in stride, and kept my feet warm and dry without making me look like a dork or a mountaineering guide. I'm packing up my apartment now, getting ready for a move back down to sunny Phoenix Arizona where I started out two years ago. I picked up these boots, and thought "should I pack these away really deep with all my other winter gear?". Nope. I love these boots so much that I think I'll even wear them in the Arizona "winter"! Even if I have to sweat a little doing it! I'm upgrading my review to four stars!

Size up! Not the color indicated
Purchased these in my normal size 9. I have purchased Sketchers in 9 before (my current pair fits great), so I assumed these would fit the same......NOT the case! While I could get them on, they were too short, ramming my heel all the way back. Sketchers are fantastic quality shoes. My slip on "loafer" style are approximately 2 years old and still look like new. I have jumped up a full size to a 10 in a reorder. When the 10s arrived, they were not dark brown but a buck skin color! I read numerous other reviews and saw that many others had the same experience. One guy said he just got out his brown Kiwi polish and that changed the color, so that's what I did. Took care of the obnoxious color and added a layer of additional weather protection.

I am in love!
I have been a big fan of Skechers for a long time. My last pair of boots (zip ups) had to go in for warranty repair and the replaced them with slide ins that I don't love. I use them for yard work. These I finally found and are wonderful! Black coming tomorrow. The moment I slipped them on my feet I was in love. Solid feel, good ankle support. The break-in was about 20 minutes. I have a fair amount of shoes, but these are now my new "everyday, go-to" boots. Beyond thrilled.

Calzo 48 y he comprado la talla 47,5. Quizás pueda parecer que quede justo al principio pero he andado todo el día con ellas y muy bien.

Look and feel great
Great boot, look great, feel great. I oiled them, so they went darker in color which was expected and I thought the darker color looked better. Only had them a couple weeks so it's to early to see how they hold up but they look well made. Edit: after a month plus of wearing them almost everyday and going on long walks ( 9 klms just today ) they are doing great 👍 👌. I would definitely recommend these boots, look great, feel great ( after maybe a slight break-in period ) and great price. Update June 8th. 2024: I work at a forest fire base with a 4500 foot asphalt runway ( 9000 ft up and back ) that I have walked 50 times since the first of May, that's close to 150 klms , and so far no extreme/unusual wear, which I can't say for some more expensive boots of similar design that I have owned. IMHO, You will not go wrong with these boots. 🙂
