Great, high quality puzzle. Great customer service too, I lost a few pieces and they took care of it right away. The shells puzzle was a unique challenge as well, really enjoyed it.

I enjoyed this challenge, but it is not for beginners. I recommend this one to anyone looking for a real challenge.

I love a challenging puzzle. I started this one and it is definitely difficult but not maddening. Good quality construction and pieces fit well.

Gorgeous picture, great challenge. Wrong fit is so close for some pieces that some parts can be bent, so take your time and treat pieces gently. Great design, very different. Will look for more

Very challenging, beautiful puzzle. Many of the pieces are almost the same, so we had to be careful to make sure we had the right one—sometimes holding the pieces up to the light to make sure they fit perfectly. The company is lovely—excellent customer service. We lost a piece and they replaced the entire puzzle.

I had a sudden urge to do a jigsaw puzzle and wanted a challenge so when I spotted this I thought I would have a go. I am not an experienced puzzler, but i've got a good eye.At first I thought I would start with the edge but that idea proved a waste of time very quickly as although a lot of the edge is black there are bits of shell that need to be in the correct position and with the black edge it is not clear if you have found the right piece as all the shapes are NEARLY identical. And this is where I would criticise the puzzle - if you have do do and undo pieces a few times the pieces are not strong enough to take it and they start wearing quickly, the paper peels etc.After this I knew I would have to do it shell by shell, the easiest first (the two long ones) so that when you get to the hardest (the big central one) you know you have all the right pieces. Preparation is everything and I split the shells up as much as possible into groups, and the edges, and the shell edges.You can see the distinct shells for the must part. One is spiky, one is dotty etc. but it is a challenge - just how I like it.So far I have spent a couple of hours on each shell a day and about 4 hours at the start arranging all the pieces.I'm not done yet!Update. I had a problem with finishing this and reached out to customer service but no reply after 2 days. I had 7 pieces that didnt fit but the rest did fit exactly. I tried taking the whole thing apart but it just didnt work

We usually start a jigsaw by completing the edges first and then start on selected parts of the images. It doesn't work on this puzzle as most of the edges are black. Start with the shell images are work outwards! It is hard enough to be really rewarding when you manage to complete it. The pieces are well cut and you generally know when you have pieces correctly placed. The final picture appears almost 3D. Really enjoyed thisone.

This is a very well made jigsaw puzzle. The pieces fit firmly together. It's a really unusual picture too. The edge pieces were hard, because they are black and all similar/normal jigsaw shapes. The intricately patterned shell pieces were hard to match too. You need to got your eye in. 90% of the pieces are the same normal shape with just a few of the odd-shaped pieces. Having said that I thoroughly enjoyed the challenge. (It took me just over two weeks)

The jigsaw was difficult to put together. There was not much variation between the different shells, and many of the pieces were an amorphous grey. I like to sit and complete parts of a puzzle at a time, but this one is not like that. Lots of the pieces were blurry, and couldn't be cross-referenced to the picture.I did not enjoy it, and kept hoping that my cats would knock it on the floor, so that I could be done with it.
