I purchased these almost five years ago and they still work great! Easy to connect and they're obviously durable if they eve made it this long. They're currently shining strong through almost two feet of snow.

I have had these spotlights as well as the 3 watt landscape lights. Very happy with the look and performance as they make our landscape look great at night. One recently stopped working and a replacement was quickly sent! Great customer service!

Excellent product. Lights are very bright and easy to install. The only thing better than the product is the customer service. I had a problem with one light from the multipack. I contacted Sunvie with a response back in one day. They replaced the light in a timely manner without any fuss. I wish all consumer companies reacted liked Sunvie. Thank you.

I wanted to put this review out because I noticed one of the top reviews, the product had a "UL/CE" labels. For perspective, I am a product compliance engineer. What I do for a living is test and certify products for UL, CE and many other worldwide listings for safety and EMC primarily. I received my lights yesterday, installed 2 of them last night. Taking note of the labels, there is a CE label on the light itself. CE means nothing, especially here in the states, and related to this light. My assumption is based on the label the CE mark declaration to the RoHS directive, not the LVD (safety) directive. What that means is the supplier "self certifies" the product meets RoHS directive, and has acceptable amounts of restricted (lead) materials. This mark is worthless in this application and the light (metal and paint) very well could contain amounts of lead over the limit. If you have an XRF gun, take a look and let me know! There is no oversight for the CE mark. The IP (ingress protection) is listed on the label, listed as IP65. Safe to water jet, but not submersion. Again, this is a self declared and possibly self tested. IP is mainly an EU mark (like CE) and not NEMA (N. America) There is an ETL (safety) label on the wires. This is a deceptive tactic. The label on the wires is not for the light or the complete assembly, this ETL mark is for the wires ONLY. The label lists model as SVT, SJT, SJTW (wire types) and the product name is: Low Voltage Cable. So, the only safety mark that communicates oversight, safety and testing by a third party NRTL is for the input wires. My assumption is the supplier buys the wires in bulk, then has ETL audit the wire trimming from the spool. The ETL mark is to CSA C22.2 # 49 and to UL 62... both for cables... I can't find the listing on Intertek's website, but you can find this ETL listing number all over Amazon on other wires used in other electric devices... so there you go. So, summary These lights seem fine. Worked last night when I installed them. As others have mentioned, there ARE NO CONNECTORS SUPPLIED. I had some connectors already so it was not an issue. The bracket on the light is a bit chincy and thin. Installing one the bracket bent very quickly when pushing into very soft earth. Very bendy bracket, not strong IMO. Don't be fooled that these lights have been tested, or are safe in any way. The labels aren't worth much more than the paper they are printed on. The supplier is giving customers the ILLUSION of safety. These are no safer than any other cheap low voltage light you can get on Amazon, built in a low cost country, with no oversight. Time will tell how long they last.

Bit of teardown on one, yes. Only a 7watt regulator inside (XLSEMI XL6001E1). LED Chip is marked 4P7S .. Its a 7watt LED, on a 7 watt driver. Tested one to push its limits (At the cost of expected lifespan). Light output is good, but power usage seems to stay at an even 7 Watts of power when tested with a DC source. The internal regulator keeps does an excellent job of maintaining the brightness when faced with both over and under voltage, it maintained full brightness all the way down to 8v - Regulator chip datasheet shows viable voltage range excellent for Solar and Battery operation of these lights. Its all pretty simple assembly and easy enough to upgrade and replace parts in the event any failure. Quite Thick glass protecting the front. The housing is an aluminum alloy, so best to take care with screw tightening only as much as needed. Even thermal paste under the cob that is secured by screws. its built well compared to the others of a similar type. Power cable is a curious ETL (Intertek) certified 105'C rated SVT PVC jacketed cable at 18AWG and FT2 .. This is a similar type of power cord as commonly used for a Desktop PC with an above average heat and fire resistance rating.. far more than sufficient to run such a compact light, and beyond anything required for such low voltage cable. I'm okay with the 7W, as the light output is excellent, It appears to be an quality Epistar Cob LED. This simply means I can actually put even more of them onto my 200w system. And Its an easy mod to solder a bigger chip and driver into place. Actual 12w Square Epistar COB chips are easy to find that are the same size factor., given the interior space and build quality for the price. I'm fine with this purchase.

Tedious install but they work good as pictured. However a few things to keep in mind: aluminium hinge is fragile and will bend under pressure so be gentle, metal screws are not stainless and will rust, and this set does not come with connectors - but they do sell good ones separately. Also must inject dielectric grease on each connection prior to burrying.
