it worked fine for the first few weeks, but i noticed my battery wouldn't charge all the time, i thought it was an issue with my charging port, not the charger, so i wiggled the charger around and sometimes it would charge. slowly over time the charger wouldn't charge my battery. my laptop would tell me it was "plugged in, not charging" and then the computer speed got slower and slower.i ended up spending $64 on a charger from dell and i don't have any issues anymore. this is not worth your money/time

Purchased this AC adapter charger as a back up for my Dell XPS 13. During its initial use it slowly charged my laptop battery. Over a month later I used it for the second time and it stopped charging the battery. It does power up the Dell and prevents the battery from completely dying. But again, it fails to charge. It's too late to return

According to the specs this should have fit my laptop but didn’t when it arrived. I was very disappointed because now I’m out what I spent and have to buy another one.

Not sure about this one, I have a new dell laptop with charger and thought that I would get another charger for the other room, so got this one. my wife was very concerned after finding it really hot after use. Its the same specs but perhaps another manufacturer. Got much hotter than the charger that came with the laptop.

Worked for my dell inspiron 15 for a few months then computer no longer recognizes this charger because its NOT OME once this happens your computer will NOT charge and will cause your computer to throttle your CPU to 20%. Apparently Dell makes it so you have to buy OEM adaptor or makes the computer useless! Guess what brand I'm never buying again!!

This fried my laptop, this is not a genuine DELL Charger, and for some reason it shorted out and killed my laptop. The power supply smelled like smoke real bad, and the laptop motherboard was fried. This does not have the internal protection in it as the OEM Dell chargers have, I have only had it for about 30 days when it burned up. Unfortunately it was beyond the return window with AMAZON to get my money back. DO NOT BUY!
