The Frigidaire 35 Pint Dehumidifier captures dust from the air for a cleaner, more comfortable home environment with with a Easy-to-Clean Washable Filter and Custom Humidity Control for maximized comfort. Front loading bucket with carrying handle and splash guard makes cleaning hassle-free. Review: Don't sweat it - quite, super effective ( it replace one that seemed to run all the time ) this seldom runs, no trouble dropping the humidity fast and keeping at the setting. Review: Frigidaire 35 Pint Dehumidifier FHDD3534Y1 - Dehumidifier works well to remove humidity, with the usual caveats that the performance is lower when humidity is lower. It does still pull a good amount of water even when set at the lowest level and the room is 35-40%RH. The 35 pint unit is small, has casters and is lightweight enough to move around easily. The main drawback is the noise is significant and although there are 3 fan levels, the lowest and highest are not very far apart. At a fan level of Low it's still not pleasant to have it running in a room you occupying. Minus one star for that. The operating controls are limited and somewhat confusing. The humidity indicator displays only what the unit is set to in 5% increments (why not 1% or 2%?), not the room humidity. There is no LED to indicate when the compressor is turning on and off. You have to feel the warm vs. cool exhaust. There is an app that requires a smartphone and Wi-Fi (plus email address) that will show you the actual humidity and other settings. It allows you to remotely control the dehumidifier including creating Tasks like turning on and off at various times. The App has some bugs like the dehumidifier not reacting to some settings or in a Task. I have not figured it all out, but most users are probably better off just finding a good humidity setting. This 35 pint model has no pump so the hose option is pretty limited unless you set it up high and let the hose drain somewhere (hose not included). Without a drain hose the bucket can fill in less than a day if humid. However, the 35 pint is great for portable uses where a tank is fine as compared to a large, heavy model that is more permanent. There is a simple screen style filter to prevent dirt and debris from getting into the coils. There is an optional fancier filter.

Great product
Quiet, effective and easy to set up.

Perfectly Basic
Streamlined profile and the placement of the drain hose allows for ample drop.

High performance. Noise and fan speed control to be improved
It works well as expected out of box. Noise is problem for those who are sensitive . Fan speed control is to be reviewed. Lowest level is still very strong
