Hosmart 1/4 Mile Long Range Rechargable Solar Driveway Alarm Wireless Sensor System Driveway Sensor Alert System Weatherproof Security Outdoor Motion Sensor (1 Receiver 3 Sensors)

I bought 4 sensors and 2 receivers total and they arrived today August 2, 2019 about 10a.m. Pack of 3/1 and solo pack 1/1.Charged all of them with the usb charger that came with the units just like it tells you to do.Waited till all blue lights went out, didn’t take long for any of the 4 to fully charge 30min to and hour (each)Installed and worked well during the mid day.Distance and everything checked out great and pretty accurate. BUT as soon as they all got in the shade as the sun goes down, all the sensors have lose their distance down to about 5’ to10’ and sometimes when I would walk across any of them about 5’ to 10’ away they sometimes wouldn’t alert at all. Mounted all of them 3.5’ to 4.5’ off the ground. Carried the receiver with me with brand new Duracell batteries in the receiver. Not impressed being that they are all brand new and already having issues. Spent more time trying to adjust the sensors this evening then it did to set them up and install them.Going to give all of them till Sunday August 4th 2019 if not working as they should they are going back.I’m kicking myself in the ass because I know better (you get what you pay for)I almost bought the $400 onesShame on me. Now I’m probably going to have to call wait fight argue send it back wait for my money. Headaches!!!!But maybe not. We will see Sunday or MondayWill let y’all know

Too many false alarms

We live in a rural area and have a long driveway. Before we bought the alarm, contractors and vendors showed up at the front door and startled me. With the alarm, we know when someone is on our road. The alarm has led to a greater sense of security.

Great product. The only thing I would like is for it to have programmable sounds

this product was perfect for what my father was looking for. Easy set up.

Very simple installation. Plug and play. Sensor pivots to allow you to get to screws easily.

Good solar option for our property. House is almost 1/4 mile from road. After some installation recommendations from Hosmart and one sensor replacement, system is working well for us. Alerts us when someone pulls up to our driveway gate. Lifetime warranty and service is a plus.

So very easy to set up and fit. Check out the video as it shows the unboxing and fitment. Very pleased with this purchase

I LOVED them until yesterday... of the 3 sensors one has become useless for any distance greater than 2-3 feet away and only straight ahead... I've had it charging for a few hours via USB since it seemed to have ample solar power for almost a full year... (why not a full 1 year warranty??)UPDATE - the unit seems to function as long as i charge it via USB,, the solar function is no longer working :( :(
