The Art of Persuasion: Winning Without Intimidation

I truly enjoyed reading this book. I myself and many others could take many recommendations from it. Throughout reading the book I have realized many things that I do could be done in a more respectful and caring way. I loved the examples the book gave as well as the stories. The stories may not relate to my life exactly as the experiences in the book but it is very broad in the way of using the techniques for any situation. I have and will continue to keep molding myself in my work and everyday life with techniques given. Even if you are not trying to sell something or yourself this book will genuinely help shape you into a better person.

This is the type of book that should be required reading, practiced by, every adult in the human race. Want your life to be easier? Learn how to ask for things and talk the way Bob Burg is saying in this. It works.

Great book, I learned a lot of how to deal with people through this book. There seemed to be a lot of loose ideas towards the end though.

The art of persuasion is more or less about the things we already know, but it has be written in a really informative way and easy to understand, learn and adapt into your daily life. I love how he explained different strategy to use in different situations. People who are beginner about persuasion should read this book.

I really enjoyed this book. Bob Burg does a great job presenting some practical conversational tools that can be and are effective in creating interactions with positive results. Although none of the information presented is revolutionary nor supported by any psychological studies, the premise of his advice is based upon the Golden Rule. This book is equally useful either as a quick read if you're looking for a crash course, general-theory-type understanding, and as a tool for slow-reading and heavy contemplation. Ive only read a handful of self-help books, but I can honestly say this is one of those books I will re-read every couple months to reinforce its lessons. Do yourself a favor and purchase this title.

The book is called The Art of Persuasion, but even though it's an easy read, it could just as accurately be called The Science of Persuasion. The author has a deep understanding of human nature and human interactions.

Bob Burg is a Napoleon Hill and Dale Carnegie clone. He really doesn't add much to what these authors have had to say already with the exception that Burg does attempt to add some NLP concepts. You can do better.

Good book, it has some good stuff that can be useful at any stage of your life. I was expecting a bit more, but it’s not bad at all.
