JUTEK Micro SD TF to SD Card Kit Mini Adaptor for Extra Storage MacBook Air/Pro/Retina, XPS 13, Raspberry Pi

After reading Kangkan's review I was kinda skeptical at first whether I should buy this or go for the same product from another seller who is selling at Rs.599. Then I read the product description and was almost sure that it would fit. Not all reviewers order the right item right1? So, went ahead and ordered it. It was delivered in 4 days and it's working perfectly fine. About the fit: It fits perfectly and doesn't look alienated. It blends in with the MacBook's silver. The read and write speed didn't drop either. Overall, an excellent and must have accesory for a MacBook Air.

Battery life or sleep mode doesn't apply to this product. It's an adapter for microSD cards which is made especially for MacBooks. Put in your MicroSD card into this adapter and push the adapter into your MacBook to expand its storage. I bought it for my MacBook Air. The product is absurdly expensive. There were few foreign rust-like deposits on the contacts. Nevertheless, it worked. There is a 5mm protrusion but that's necessary to pull the adapter out of the MacBook. Overall, 4 stars

Product is good but card ejecting twice per day minimum. I don’t know why this is happening.

Considering the product price the build quality is really good ! When it comes to performance it's fast and durable at the same time. I'm using MacBook Air 13" 2017 model it detects the SD Card very quickly and allows Read and Write functionality instantly. There's no need of ejecting the device while shutting down your laptop as it acts as a secondary "drive". I also have another MacBook Air 13" (Early 2015) it runs and detects too and is as smooth as mentioned above. It is worth buying I would recommend if you are looking to expand your storage in cheap. Tips: 1. Use SD CARD of good read and write speed (Supports Class 10). Something worth mentioning: When I first ordered it, the product that I received was broken. I applied for return and the next day the new product was delivered. I was fine with the delivery and packaging. Rest is up to you.

Didn't fit properly in the SD card slot of my MBP 13". It broke the SD card slot itself. No none of the cards work. Repair is too expensive... i have to use usb drives now... :(

Nice fit and color using in MBA 13". Does the job just fine. Using class 10 128 gigs Micro SD in this adapter to enhance storage of my MBA. No speed drops observed. It flushes on the sides with MBA unibody and slightly raised in middle to facilitate grip for easy removal and insertion.

Lasted only 2 months, poor quality

This has been really helpful, just buy a reasonably priced micro SD card and forget about the 128GB SSD problems you have. I use a 128GB Micro SD card along and just keep iTunes and downloads on the card, my MBP is as fast as when it came new, from press of the power up button to the usable screen in under 13 seconds.
