ReptiSun® 10.0 High Output UVB Fluorescent Bulb 17 Watts, 24-Inch

This has been my recommended brand for years. I bought two bearded dragon babies a week prior to ordering this product. Using a new bulb from another brand in each cage, I noticed that one of my dragons was not thriving. It was lethargic and barely ate. After reading about the inconsistencies of other brands, I ordered this product. After switching to this brand a week later, it seemed to bounce back within a few hours of exposure and has been growing since. I find that this product is reliable and I trust it.

This is a great UVB bulb for any reptiles. I've used these bulbs for over 6 years with my Iguana and Tortoises and they have both stayed very healthy. Due to the cold weather throughout most of the year I have had very little opportunity to provide natural sunlight and these bulbs have made up for that very well. They have always lasted 1 year (at which point I always replace them as their UVB output drops off significantly) and have lasted well even in the high humid enclosure which houses my Iguana. Great UVB bulb! Amazon's Price for this item can not be beat at any local store though I always check.

I Own 3 Bearded Dragon Babies that are around 4 months old and for now all 3 are in a 20 Gallon Long tank together!! The Zoo Med Repti Sun 10.0 High Output UVB Bulb Is awesome it covers the whole tank, so even if they are down off there climbing log they are still getting the UVB They need!!! I Definitely Recommend it to anyone who has reptiles or any one in general!!! It is worth every penny to have Healthy, Happy Reptiles!!! Thank You Zoo Med!!! Jud Twiddy

This worked really awesomely for my bearded dragon. It made him more lively and really brought out his colors, and he seemed overall just a happier dragon after putting this bulb into his tank. The only problem I had with it was that it burned out after less than a month of use, so I had to contact Amazon for a replacement. I wouldn't use any other bulb.

I have a bearded dragon. It is EXTREMELY important for beardies to get UVB light. This brand is recommended for a reason. Quality German bulbs that last. On the package, it says to replace the bulb every 12 months. I prefer to do it every 6 months to ensure my little guy gets proper lighting. Amazon saves the day as well. Not only is it cheaper here than anywhere I could find, but none of the local pet shops carry this bulb anymore. All I can find are the smaller, socket style ReptiSun bulbs. My tank is far too large for those to be effective. It comes shipped very well packaged with little chance of damage.

I guess I'm cheap (or poor, which might be what makes me cheap), but I just find it a bit hard to consider a single bulb worth $20+, but then again the price isn't what I'm reviewing. I bought one of these bulbs before, and with these type bulbs you must replace them (even if they aren't burnt out) at regular intervals of about 6 months. They will continue working, but not producing UV radiation at the required levels. I've been using them in my bearded dragon's tank since October 2011 and he's still doing fine. The bulb works and does it's job, the lizard is healthy, it arrived well packed and padded to heck and back with bubble wrap (which I appreciated). I can't see a reason not to give 5 stars.

First time I received this bulb, the seller apparently had no idea how to correctly ship it, and I received it entirely shattered inside it's box. The second time the bulb hadn't shattered, so I stupidly assumed the bulb was safe and never bothered to test it out in my fixture. I wrapped it up in my own bubble wrap and put it in my garage. Went to replace my tortoise's bulb yesterday, and this second bulb isn't working either. Both ends of the bulb are getting really bright but the bulb won't turn on, just flickering. Tried to contact the seller because this replacement bulb wouldn't work at all and they're mega expensive bulbs, and the seller basically told me it's been too long to do anything, so they incorrectly ship these bulbs in the first place, and then even though it had been over 30 days before I became aware of the fact the "replacement" was also defective, they have basically told me I just have to buy another one. Don't buy from these people they don't know what they're doing with expensive bulbs.

I only use Zoo Med bulbs with my beardie. She was a rescue, and didn't have proper lighting for the first several years of her life. Because of this, she has a little bit of metabolic bone disease. I only trust her health to Zoo Med, and I only trust amazon with my wallet! You can't go wrong with these bulbs - but make sure you mount them correctly! They should be under the mesh as that filters out some of the rays - I recommend buying an undercounter fluorescent mount and taking the cover off, then mounting it inside the tank. Bottom line is, this bulb is great! Buy one!

ホルスフィールドリクガメのケージ照明に使用しています。 しっかり明るいです。 ＵＶ量も問題ないようで、甲羅が柔らかくなる、骨が変形するなどのクル病になることなく10年以上飼育できています。 明るくても1年で照射されるＵＶ量が減るそうなので、うちでは年一回交換しています。

やはりこれじゃないとって感じでチップがグジュグジュにならず乾いた状態です

アカミミガメのライトに使っています。 普通に使えています。
