Amazing paint. Tried the small Matt black tin first and it painted two stools and two tables (all wooden) in one coat. Fast drying on a sunny day. I bought a bigger pot the next day and painted a metal box again great finish then a very old ikea stool. We are considering this brand to paint our canal boat. It’s pricy paint but does an excellent job. I used fine doing rollers and paint brushes.

I literally recommend this paint to everyone. Internal door, use The One, external door, use The One, skirting, architrave, windowsills, radiator pipes, picture frames. I've literally used it one everything you can think of. I've even used it on melamine furniture. The matt level is brilliant, it is super matt. The depth of the colour on the black is brilliant too. You can defo get away with one rocker coat, but I tend to prefer two thinner ones. Even on white doors it only took two coats to cover and is such an even result. I've also used it on an external upvc door with no issues. I would say water will leave marks. I've used it in my downstairs bathroom and it does leave marks around the sink, but a quick wipe gets rid of them. It dries so quickly you can re-coat after an hour. I haven't tried mixing it either anything so can't attest to that and not have a tried any of the colours they do other than black and white.

I ordered satin "off white" assuming it would be very slightly creamy in colour but it was not, it was actually very "white" more like brilliant white? howver it was not a real issue for me. Also, it is marketed and named "One Coat" but it needed a minimum of 2 coats (could have done with a third coat) as the aged oil based white (creamy) paint was still very visible after 1 coat and barely visible after 2 coats. (The previous paint was sanded and cleaned appropriately prior to re-painting). NOTE: That it does state it acts as a base coat and "first" coat in one, so technically not a "one coat" paint. The paint was very easy to apply and smoothed out on a horizontal surface to a nice even finish with barely any brush strokes visible. Virtully no odour. Drying time was acceptably fast enough but in reality longer than 30 minutes. I used just under half of the 250ml tin to paint a very large 1.8m x 0.9m antique mirror frame, so happy with the coverage, which would equate to about 1 square metre of surface area, which is about as advertised. Overall i am quite happy with this paint and would use again, mindful that it needs more than one coat especially if it was to cover a dark colour. Hence one star deducted for the colour not a expected from the description, but accepted that it doee not specify clearly in what way the colour is "off " white? it certainly was not a creamy white.

Oh my goodness this paint is amazing! Bought on the recommendation of a friend & this small tin has been enough to paint both front & back doors. Did a really good job of covering the old scuffed up pvc & they both look like new doors. I did 2 coats on each. I usually use a leading chalk paint brand but would say this is better. Highly recommend this paint.

Really good paint with top quality coverage and easy to use. Very quick drying and no horrid aroma. Also available in different colours making it very versatile.

Absolutely fantastic paint, one coat is all it took, covered beautifully, no patches and the colour is rich and dried to a perfect Matt with no shine. I will definitely buy from this brand again!

Beautiful colour the sage green really good paint and goes on smooth, but very disappointing how small the tin is and how much it costs for a small tin. Doing my kitchen which is small and not covered one wall.

This paint is brilliant, one coat yes brilliant white yes very easy to apply yes and dries really quickly. 10 out of 10
