I've been using traditional plastic hose pipes for a while now, and always struggle with them - especially in the colder months when the pipe just turns rigid and impossible to handle. Storing the hose away was always a problem. This hosepipe however changes all that. It's very flexible, and even when cold it coils up very easily. It's also seems to be quite a bit smaller than my other hoses when coiled up. It comes with what appear to be brass fittings, but they seem very light weight. They also don't appear to be easily replaceable, but I may be wrong on that. Once attached to my outside tap and the tap turned on the pipe 'inflated' with water. It quite noticeable grew in size. When done it works just great. The included head offers the standard variety of spray patterns, and they all work as they should. It did seem that there was a little less pressure at the end, I suspect the hose internal diameter is slightly less, but it wasn't an issue for me. The length of hose was more than enough for me to use around my back yard. Once done I turned the tap of, then pulled the trigger to release the pressure. The hose runs for a good few seconds and visibly shrinks as it's doing so. Once empty it coils up so much more easily than rigid hoses do it's almost laughable. I did find that the tap connector had a slight (very slight) leak, so it definitely needs to be turned off between uses. For the money I'm very happy with this hose, and I think it represents excellent value.

Absolutely brilliant! I have quite a small garden and lawn and this hose will reach all the way to the end of my garden. It's connected to a tap at the back of my house, goes across the decking, down the steps, along the long grass path, down more steps and across more decking. There is no plant that I can't now not reach in order to water. Previously, I had two long hoses joined together, but the connectors would keep popping open and shooting a jet of water in random directions. No more. This hose feels like it just goes for miles. I can even get around the front of my house onto the street with it to clean my car. The metal connectors are good and fit well. Despite being very long the hose is lightweight. When it's not in use it shrinks back and can be kept in the bag it came in. There's a hose hanger though I won't be using that. It appears to be robust and strong. It doesn't kink and if it does get a little tangled it never gets into knots. The hose sprayer is good too. Though it's too chunky for my small hands. Squeezing it open makes my hands ache, but as it has a clip at the top I keep it open with that so I don't have to grip it tightly. There's a great selection of spray functions and they all work well. The pressure has been really good too, the water comes out powerfully. The only issue with expandable hoses, is that if you have a sprinkler for example, and it's far down your garden, the hose won't reach it because it has to be filled with water to expand to full length. Placing a sprinkler in action will drench you in water, so that's not an option. It would be perfect, if it had a stop tap on the end, but unfortunately it doesn't, so this is something to consider in comparison to a standard hose. For general watering, spraying, car washing and everything else however, it's excellent. I'm very happy indeed with it and delighted that I can cover my entire property without fuss or effort.

I ordered this to replace my old bulky hose, and so far I’m really happy with it. It’s much easier to handle because it stays compact when not in use and expands out smoothly when the water is on. This makes it far less of a hassle to move around the garden or carry to the car for washing. The spray nozzle is great to have. You can switch between 10 modes from gentle misting, powerful jet, shower and other patterns depending on what you’re doing, whether that’s watering plants, rinsing the patio or cleaning the car. It feels sturdy and doesn’t get stuck between patterns, which is something I’ve struggled with on cheaper nozzles. My only small note is that you do need to let it drain properly after use, otherwise it stays a bit heavy and doesn’t shrink back completely. But once it’s drained and hung up, it folds down nicely and takes up very little space. Overall its great value and has been a very good upgrade for everyday garden and car washing tasks, and I’m pleased with how well it performs. I hope you found my review helpful :)

This is a neat kit that has everything I need for attaching to a water butt pump. The hose has a quality feel to it and expands a good way. The amount the hose expands depends on the pump pressure, but my system works fine. The spray head works well. There's a holder for the hose which I can clip onto a large hook. I think this will last a while.

This Jsdoin expandable hose comes with everything needed to use it if you have an outside tap. I particularly like the hanging hook provided which makes storage easy. We used to use a traditional hose however forever having to untangle it and store it was a constant frustration, we tried an expandable hose and its just so much easier, takes up less space and it is lighter and easier to use and move. This model feels nicely made, the connectors all fit well with no leaks. The nozzle is pretty good and for the price, I think this is really good value. I will say with this type of hose they do need a bit more care taken, and they can stretch over time - the box here states this to be dog chew proof and I doubt thats the case so it does over promise a little. But if care is taken this feels a good quality hose for the price.

Fantastic garden hose.... so much better than the rubber ones which are heavy and cumbersome to go around the garden and then to put away.... this hose is light and Fantastic to move around with you in the garden or allotment or washing the car.. it's light and very practical..... so easy also to store easy when finished....... light and very functional... with excellent attachments and spray hose.... Just make sure to roll it up and store it in a place or of direct sunlight if possible and definitely indoors in the winter.....

This hose is very easy to manage compared to a traditional rigid one. It stays compact when empty, then expands fully once the water is on, which makes it simple to move around the garden without dragging a heavy coil behind you. It does need to be fully drained after use if you want it to shrink back properly, and like most expandable hoses, it relies on water pressure to reach its full length. A convenient, space‑saving hose that’s easy to store and pleasant to use, especially if you’re replacing a bulky plastic one.

This is a top quality hose which is long enough to go around my garden. It is very strong yet flexible and stores away neatly. The head enclosed has a strong flow of water and features many different settings to suit a variety of uses. I am looking forward to the summer when this item will be put to good use every single day. A great quality item
