I’ve also been using it on my dog’s paws and my micro pig’s hoofs and it’s worked wonders there too! My dog’s paws, which are prone to dryness and cracking in the winter, have become noticeably softer and more hydrated. And my pig’s hoofs, which can get rough and callused, have also shown marked improvement. The weather was freezing, and I was washing my hands constantly due to meal prepping for 12 people. I forgot to pack Udder Balm, and within days, my hands cracked and became painful again. I tried other products, but nothing worked until I got home and applied Udder Balm—the relief was instant.I gave this product a five-star review because it’s the only one that’s truly brought my hands back to life. A loooong time ago, my new roommate in college was unpacking her things and out popped a can of Dr. Naylor's Udder Balm, which she set up on her dresser. I didn't pay much attention to it at first, but the distinctive red and yellow can caught my eye and I read what it said. Udder balm? What the heck do you use Udder Balm for??? Everything. ????? I began to wonder what kind of roommate I had. Turns out her grandparents lived on a farm and it is used for chapped cow teats. Yup, really. They also used it for pretty much everything else. Chapped, lips, irritated nose from a cold, scrapes and cuts. The stuff is amazing. When we left for winter break, I asked her to bring me back a can. I still actually have that first can, dated 1982, because Udder Balm holds a special place in my heart. Since then I have used it for all kinds of things with my family. if you have a bad cold and have been blowing your nose a lot, you end up with a very sore, chapped and irritated nose that can take many days to heal. A little Udder Balm before you go to sleep and the next morning the skin feels almost completely better. Same for chapped lips. I actually use it each night before I go to sleep and I can't even tell you the last time I had chapped lips, Now, I will caution, on chapped skin it may sting at first, but that stops after about a minute or so. We dab some on the gauze side of a band-aid for cuts. It's great for chapped hands. If you are coloring your hair, you can use some around the hairline and ears to create a barrier and keep the dye from staining your skin. There are many uses, and a little bit goes a long way. I was a little disappointed when I got this from Amazon the first time because the ingredient list was different from the original can, and I was concerned it wouldn't work as well. But it does, and I am thrilled.

I got this because I was getting bad dandruff in my beard. I apply this after a shower to my skin and it helps keep the dandruff at bay. When I got my dog I started getting a rash on my upper lip. I thought maybe this would help and it cleared it right up. When the rash came back I did it again and again cleared it right up. And for a third time the rash came back and again cleared it right up. This formula is amazing at dealing with pesky skin irritations. Highly recommend.

Great balm for dry skin on humans too.

More like a lotion that pure Vaseline like udder balm. I like that . it was packed fine. Shrink wrapped not open . nothing leaked
