This was the most played with Christmas gift to our Sons aged 7 and 14. Even adults got in and played. 5 stars for fun for the whole family but that’s about all I can say. Now for the important review. Package came and 1 controller wouldn’t connect (pair) my youngest wanted to play desperately. Luckily the local store had a set I could buy but at quite a bit more cost. In the spirit of Christmas I bought it and then they had 4 different bots to choose from. Plus we had 4 working controllers. So actually we got all of us to play in the arena at the same time. Great family fun worth the cost. Unfortunately as the day went on bots started breaking. Mostly it was the mechanism that powers the tools quit spinning or hammering. 3days after Christmas 3 of the 4 bots don’t fully work. I looked at replacement bots and they are just as expensive as the entire set almost. This is a great game, we all loved playing it but there needs to be much more durability and quality built in to consider this a good investment. It’s a bummer. We hit a home run buying something that was really enjoyed. I hope the manufacturer fixes these problems because I could see us buying all the bots and having our own tournaments just like on tv.

Based on other reviews I had low expectations, thinking one of the bots would break within a few minutes. Well, we just finished two ten minute battles, the bots, remotes, and cage are all intact. We were rolling on the floor and only stopped because we were laughing so hard. Really a great toy for the price. Something will break soon, but you have to expect that; it’s the goal of the game in the first place.

I do think this is over priced for what it is. the arena is cardboard but really should be a smoother material in my opinion.... But with that said, I'd still buy it again. My boys loved this! (Was a Christmas gift for a 6 & 9yr old) they still play it, and love working to save up for additional bots. It is quite fun, although minotaur really is no match for tombstone and will loose EVERY TIME. If your not willing or wanting to buy additional bots then this might not be for you. But I found witch doctor to be a good opponent for tombstone!

Ordered this as a last minute Christmas gift for my 8 year old. He loves it! He set it up completely on his own, I would say his skills are age appropriate so I was glad it was easy enough to build his confidence.He has played with it all day, battle after battle with various family members. All ages have enjoyed it. The bots have held up against repeated destruction, the stadium has held up as well.Overall, I am happy with this purchase and will be buying more bots. I will update if I have any issues.

I bought this for my 7 and 9 year old grandsons for Christmas and they love it! It keeps them busy for a long time. It comes with a couple different battle bots. This is a winner as a gift!

This is literally the best gift I have ever given someone. I got it for my niece for Christmas because my dad got her into watching Battle Bots recently. Let’s just say the gift was a hit! Everyone in my family was playing it and still is. We bought 4 more bots so we now have 6. IT IS AMAZING AND SO MUCH FUN FOR ALL AGES.

This was purchased for my 11 year old grandson for his birthday. We (Yes - WE) were initially thrilled with the product, but after two rounds the drum on Minotaur stopped working -- JUST LIKE SEVERAL OTHER REVIEWERS DESCRIBED IN THIER REVIEWS!!!!I've worked with remote control products and electronics for many years but have not been able to get the drum to do anything more than twitch. It appears the motor may be dead. The only reason we bought the Arena was so we could get Minotaur AND Tombstone. Minotaur is pretty much neutered when the drum won't spin.Fortunately, we also separately bought the Bite Force and Blacksmith package, so the day wasn't a total loss.FWIW -- all the bots appear to have 3 pieces of armor that can be knocked off. That's how you decide who the winner is. Bite Force has been the biggest winner of the working three bots we have left because the main cover is pretty hard to dislodge. Blacksmith's hammer is impressive. Before it died, Minotaur's drum was really doing a number on the other bots.We haven't had any problems with the arena board staying flat.

My 4 grandchildren ages 15 14 13 6 love really truly love this game. And I must say that I also like it very much. When I visit them it use to be that chess would win out but now this game wins even over the swimming pool. Well made and more fun then you think!! Even the big moms & dads.

Like others who have purchased and reviewed the product, our experience with Minotaur was similar - the weapon (spinning drum) stopped working within a day. Does not seem to be repairable.
