Works great! My car heater, quit working, and this has kept me warm.In 20 degree temperatures.

Worked one time... Tested with a portable battery a month or so before our next camping trip, worked fine.kept the bed warm all night on a single 12v lithium battery pack.Fast forward to our trip where it was in the 40's at night and it no longer worked. Drained two batteries. We had to leave a day early because we were out of power. Partly my bad for not bringing an extra battery and assuming it would work after the first battery was dead... Lesson; just bring extra blankets!

I needed this for the 1 hour waiting in the van , during my daughter's class. In 6 degrees F, in February. Almost freeze. Didn"t keep me warm enough. This will work for a 10 minutes outdoor the most but not for more than an hour. Lightly warm, but not for an Idaho Winter, sorry. Returned it without any problem. Great customer service. Maybe would work for you. Depending for what you need it.

Not bad

For auto weather emergencies and chilly nights of grid, this is gonna be great! This comes with a zipping plastic bag for storage which is great for storage in the car. I bought this blanket for when I’m off grid in my travel trailer to use with my 400 W solar generator. The blanket itself is a nice heavy fleece. The coils inside are well protected. Or you could use us as a regular blanket without the electricity and it would still be quite warm, though not full blanket size. Plugged into my solar generator the thing became nice and warm at about 15 minutes. Not hot just pleasantly radiantly warm. It drew just under 50 W and did not draw down my battery at all during that time. It would be ideal for warming up the bed before getting into it or for a little extra warmth in the wee hours of the morning before the sun rises. Because it has automatic shut off it’s not ideal to run through the entirety of the night. The blanket did have an industrial/manufacturing odor to it. I have chemical sensitivity that is pretty intense, so I will have to air it out for a while before I can use it. But It was not so overwhelming that I couldn’t test it out first. I expect if I hang it out on the laundry line and let the sun do it’s thing, it will be ready to be rolled back up and stored for use when it is needed.
