FatShark 250mW V3 5.8GHz Video Transmitter With NexwaveRF

The transmitter has good range, no drop outs, easy to plug and play. I have used it with multiple cameras and multiple receivers and it has worked great.My only complaint is it is a bit large and heavy, and it draws a lot of power for a small to midsize quad. I would not recommend this for anything smaller than a 400mm quad or a 40" plane. And given the power draw you will want a good size battery.It is a good transmitter, I plan to move it to a larger plane that can better support the weight.

I bought this set for my Horton BV-38. Could not be happier with its fit and function. With the supplied rubber ducky on tx and stock mushroom from Fatshark on the Rx. I am getting a strong signal better than 3/4 mile. This is more than adequate for my needs.I would absolutely buy again.

I'm using this primarily as a ground station repeater from 1.2ghz for my goggles but I did play with it on a quad as well and got about 600yds using just the RHCP 3/4 lobe antennas. This was in town and it's pretty noisy for 5.8 but where I was flying I couldn't responsibly go past 600yds anyway.

I received a transmitter with range of around 200 feet, not 2 kilometers. Not worth the price.

poor design connection to antenna can be easily broken if not careful

A nice upgrade in power over my old 25mW FPV system. It works great, but is a bit heavier than expected. It's 3x heavier what it replaced.

This video transmitter works very well, but you can purchase transmitters that are smaller, more powerful, and have more features for about the same price.

The item met all expectations. Hooked it up to the Dji Phantom and all works well.
