It works well. Read the instructions first because you need to connect the battery first. I bought this but maybe a different sku. There is no negative resistance as it only goes one way. That aside the weight is adjusted by a digital dial that you turn to adjust the weight. You can use two hand grips (it did not come in the package but I had extra ones). There is no materials regarding exercises so you have to be creative. It is very heavy, portable. I say it is worth it. Battery can be used for 500 sessions.

Just received smart gym today and oh boy this device is piece of garbage. Only resistance you get is when you’re pushing up but once go down in movement resistance is no longer present. It’s a honest bummer that the device doesn’t meet my expectation but glade to know that if I want a good smart gym I gotta fork out the extra cost get a good quality gym that give me the full experience rather than going the cheaper route. So in conclusion buy the best smart gym and cry later on how much you spent for the smart gym.

I like it so far. I deducted a star because it said 220 pounds but it only lets you select up to 100 each side. Otherwise, seems like a solid product for whenever you can’t make it to the gym and pushups or pull-ups aren’t enough. Also be aware that the resistance only works in one direction.

Bought this one for my son's birthday I love it, he loves it. I don't have to worry about a little inexperience with how there is only tension going up. I'm absolutely certain that he is safe using this machine
