Lost then found but works well
I lost my recurring tool and needed to reload some shells for hunting season. Of course, I ordered this and then found the two I already owned. Now I have 3. My only complaint is there is a black coating on the tool and it gets all over your fingers when you use it. It washes off and doesn’t seem to stain clothing. I just wish it didn’t turn my fingers black when I use it.

Good tool
This is a great tool. The nose is a bit too long for my intended purpose. It is a high quality tool though.

Works much better than I expected
This thing works amazingly well. I can chamfer and deburr a .308 case in 10 seconds. Yes, your hands do get tired if you need to do many cases - but for bulk brass prep just get a Giraud Tri-Way.Sharp, even bevel (for a hand tool). Really really pleased with it.

Sturdy and probably lasts a lifetime
I got this and went straight to work. I hand load for my 30-30 rifle and having only one caliber to worry about, its a nice hobby. I was having problems seating bullets and this solved 99% of that. Doing lots of 20 rounds is a soothing way to spend an hour. This tool makes it easier. If I choose to switch to other rounds, it will work for them as well

Dull, Dull, Dull
I purchased this deburring tool to trim some new brass and didn’t think my 40 year old RCBS tool was sharp enough for 100 rounds of 45-70.I was totally disappointed with Hornady offering and had it ready to send back within 15 minutes of taking it out of the package. I can’t believe how many new products I’ve ordered turn out to be junk! I ended up using my RCBS tool because it was much sharper than the Hornady was.I ordered a L.E. Wilson hoping they’re quality hasn’t gone down the drain.Thump88

Needed this tool
Started out reloading mistakenly believing I only needed to chamfer and debur my casings after trimming but quickly realized I was getting shavings off the bullet when seating and was feeling more resistance than I should be when lowering the ram. Picked this tool up and began using firm even pressure with both ends of the casings and immediately saw a difference when seating. Much smoother, less resistance and no more bullet shavings. Great little tool.

I like it better than my RCBS tool
I picked up this Hornady tool in addition to the RCBS tool I've had so I could do brass prep with a friend. They both do a great job, but I like this Hornady tool a little better than the RCBS one. More comfortable in my hands and the larger checkered surface area gives a bit more grip, especially if your hands get sweaty over time working in a hot shed/garage.
