The Foundling: Every Parent's Nightmare eBook : Ziebell, Rosalyn: desertcart.co.uk: Kindle Store Review: compelling - I found this book to be unputdownable! Being a mother and knowing what unconditional love is, made it very real. I especially loved the ending because in some way it was exactly as I had imagined it should be. It makes a refreshing change not to have twists and turns at the end. I would recommend this author to anyone who wants to be entertained in a highly gripping manor. Review: An absorbing read - This is a thoughtful and absorbing story that begins with a child being taken in an act of opportunistic impulse while on a day out at the beach. The author focuses on the initial impact and longer-term repercussions of Lola’s abduction with real empathy and insight, following not only the distraught parents but also the child in her new circumstances. I was drawn into the personal lives of the characters and kept reading to the end to find out how they would endure the trials that they faced, whether the two sides of the story would meet again and how all their lives would ultimately be shaped by the after-effects of the original impulsive act.

an intriguing book
I have thoroughly enjoyed this book. I do in fact know the author and had no idea that she had written this book until a few days ago. An excellent debut novel which I would recommend

A readable book on an important subject
This is a very readable book on an important topic. The plot is well constructed and believable. I felt the characters were well drawn and I found myself feeling empathy to the the subjects on both sides. I would highly recommend this book.

A fascinating and absorbing story.
To write a novel about child abduction is quite a challenge, but Rosalyn Ziebell pulls it off brilliantly, creating a complex and absorbing story. The characters are sympathetically drawn; as the drama unfolds we can empathise with all of their emotions, and their consequential actions. A fascinating read.

Page Turning Story
I found this story fascinating and wanted to know the outcome. Having it set in an area I know well was a bonus. A good holiday read.

A good read right to the end. The characters were well described to the point where the reader could sympathize with the two main characters. I was curious where the story would lead to.
