Decent quality antennas for the price. I test a lot of receivers and some antique radios. Satisfied with both. Most of the older units do not have the slip on fitting for the "T" antenna so the twin wire works well on the 75 Ohm. I'd buy again.

I ordered this for my 40 year old Pioneer SX-1300 stereo receiver. Both antennas were compatible and work for AM and FM reception.

Doesn’t work

Had my stero for 4 years and never had an antenna. Didn't know what kind it took. I got this and now my stero is complete and sounds fantastic when I use the radio part. Even am works with it's new antenna... If you don't have an antenna I suggest getting this one. It comes with all the correct plug ins..

I recently bought an old Onkyo receiver with built-in FM and AM tuners. I used a wire to pick up the FM signal, but the signal strength varies because the sound quality depends on the weather during the day. Since the receiver didn't come with the original loop (for AM) or an FM antenna, I found one on Amazon at a great price. The installation is simple—just hook everything up. FM reception improved significantly. The FM antenna is mounted on the wall in a "T" shape to maximize signal reception, and it works great. The AM antenna is self-standing, with two wires at the end that connect to the receiver's AM inputs. These antennas were common in the old days, but now they are harder to find. Since it provides good-quality AM and FM antennas, it offers great value for the money and works well.

The F-Type balun adapter was essential for my older receiver, and the 2-pin bare wire connection for the AM loop snapped right into the spring clips without any fraying. My FM reception went from static-heavy to crystal clear on almost all local stations. The AM loop is also sturdy enough to stand on its own without falling over. I live down in a vally so its real hard to pick up the radio, but this is the best antenna I've found yet.
