Very interesting and informative book for all purposes. Just amazing. Will change the way you think about cognition. I think it's cost should be more.

It's a good book for the course. Easy to follow and understand and it has really good images and charts to go along with the text.

This was the textbook in the 1 class I took in CogSci and I found it incredibly easy to read and it was actually quite interesting.

What can I say, except that it's a satisfactory introductory level cognitive psychology textbook. There were no inaccuracies or flagrant theoretical biases that I noticed, though I have to question the wisdom of introducing Latent Semantic Analysis in such a basic-level text.My students (highly gifted youngsters aged 15-16) found the writing level to be appropriate, though perhaps a bit elementary. College students at state schools will prefer this text to other, more advanced options like Willingham and Goldstein.If you need a basic-level, no-frills, inexpensive (relatively speaking) textbook for an introductory course in cognitive psychology, this is an excellent option. If you want a desk reference for cognitive psychology, I recommend getting a used or old edition of Willingham's text.
