Decided this is the one I wanted to try.

This is good quality cinnamon as far as I can tell and the price is right. But I would not order again because it comes in a paper bag. My bag was torn and cinnamon was all over everything.

I had purchased this a while ago. I chose this brand because of how the previous Cylon Cinnamon I had purchased was unavailable and going by the riviews.I use copious amounts of cinnamon in the morning in my Greek yogurt, oatmeal, or cereal. I use it to help moderate my blood sugar and A1C. I have been diagnosed as "pre-diabetic". The previous brand did the trick. But I've been using this crap for a while now. I had my doubts about it being Ceylon.It's taken me a while to figure out with 100% certainty that this is not Ceylon Cinnamon!! It is dark red and tastes much like the Saigon Cinnamon from the store. That's the cassia cinnamon which not good for you in large quantities. But what confirmed my determination was the fact that I finally was able to get a blood test done; and my liver enzymes were off the chart.I was without health insurance since October 2020. Back when I was getting blood draws done regularly, I was using the other brand's Ceylon. My blood tests were always spot on.I've just recently gotten medical insurance again; and have resumed seeing a doctor more regularly. I really hope that there is no permanent damage to my liver. This just because someone has decided to lie about their product out of greed!! SHAME ON YOU!!!

This cinnamon does not smell like the stuff you buy at the grocery store, it has a more delicate aroma. When it is still in the bag it comes in it smell odd. Once your remove it from the bag it is mail in and put it in your own container it smells great. If you just take a pinch of it and put it in your mouth to taste it, it does taste dusty, however once it is mixed with something the flavor comes thru. All in all I like it and would buy it again. Just don't expect it to be like McCormick cinnamon you pick up cheap at the Walmart

I kept reading that Saigon cinnamon was not REAL cinnamon, so I decided to purchase the Ceylon cinnamon. It is definitely different that the Saigon cinnamon, but I think the Ceylon is more versatile than the Saigon. I use the Ceylon in my oatmeal and I really like it. I have also used the spice with sweet potatoes. It would probably be good with squash recipes. Glad I tried it.
