'NEO' HAS TO DISCOVER WHO HE REALLY IS
A futuristic sci-fi trilogy that tells of humankind unknowingly trapped inside simulated reality byintelligent machines known as The Matrix.Computer programmer and hacker Thomas Anderson (Keanu Reeves) known on-line as 'Neo' feels something isn't right with the World as he has repeated encounters with something called The Matrix on-line.He is contacted by Trinity (Carrie Anne Moss) a highly skilled warrior who will later become his love-interest telling him that someone freed from The Matrix has the answers to the questions he has.Believing that Neo can lead them to Morpheus who is seen as a much-wanted terrorist by Agent Smith (Hugo Weaving) a sentient program Agent of The Matrix who captures Neo with his aids and coerces the computer hacker into helping them. However, when taken to Nebuchadnezzar (The ship captained by Morpheus) to meet the terrorist suspect he begins to learn the truth of the Worlds current mix of reality and The Matrix and the threat to human-kind from the machines.Morpheus believes Neo to be 'The One' of prophecy who will help save the World.Well, Neo doesn't recognize Morpheus's vision of who he is.After initial training to unlock his reflex skills Neo must go out into the World to discover his destiny himself.Along the way, he'll have several encounters with Mr. Smith and often Mr. Smith's many duplicates resulting in numerous bruising encounters. He will also have guidance and knowledge from she that is known as the Oracle (Gloria Foster)Unlocking the mysteries of the Matrix and its threat and increasingly learning his new-found abilities and skills. The war council will call on all to aid in the battle that is yet to come, though Morpheus believes his ship and crew have a loan purpose.Humankind will face overwhelming odds as the final showdown with the machines approaches, what role will Neo have in the battle's outcome? Not all the key characters will survive..Must admit the trilogy is better than I remembered it to be, lasttime of watching at the cinema when each was doing the rounds, however, did realize it was a film series that would benefit fromthe 4K upgrade, I was right, in fact, the upgrade is stunning in allthree. Was given a voucher for my birthday which made the purchasesomewhat inevitable, glad I made the investment.Well worth owning, superb action sequences and indeed one ofcinema's most memorable car-chase sequences along the way.

4K UHD Review - 5 Stars With Caveats
The packaging is nice. An outer cardboard slip case, once removed, reveals an inner cardboard box. Inside that are the three disc cases each holding three discs. For the price this is nice packaging. Especially when compared to the lacklustre packaging of the recent Indiana Jones 4K release. The films themselves are 5 star but with some warnings.I have no problem with a film being made to look as good as possible. With 4K you can watch a film like it’s the first time you’ve seen it. 4K can give you so much more detail than was possible in the cinema at the time a film was released that it can be jaw dropping. The 40th anniversary edition of Alien does that.I have no problem with some tweaking of the film. Maybe an earlier release of the film had dodgy colour and the director has now corrected it. The 4K Lord of the Rings did that very well.I’m less happy with directors making changes because they wanted to do something at the time that wasn’t possible but now it is. We end up with George Lucas if we go down that route.I definitely do not want the film changed…ideally I want the best version of the film that is true to the original. The Matrix trilogy is right in the middle. There has been some tweaks but overall they were probably for the best. The films have grain throughout. It’s not massively intrusive (though it’s more than I personally like) but it is consistent and it looks very much like film rather than digital (if that makes sense). The films look good. Some very sharp scenes but with others that are less sharp. The colour has been tweaked. Colours are more refined in their application but also stand out more as a result. It’s not just a green wash now but precision highlighting. What the overall feel I get from them is that these films were never intended to be presented as pin sharp, jaw dropping 4K remasters that have you pausing and rewinding in amazement at how much detail has been revealed, but rather an attempt to make these films look like the best cinema presentation possible. If you could put these up on a very big screen or projector you would see these films as they were originally meant to be seen in a cinema. So if you’re looking for a 4K showcase then these may not be it.If you want to see a film in the way it was meant to be seen then this is definitely what you’re looking for.For £30 I would say this is a must buy for your collection. Recommended without any hesitation.

Everyone knows this film✌️ Great films amazing Price.
I had first on 4K but this had some crazy half price offer maybe even £25-30.So no brainer. So sold my part one for £12 so quids in.I don't need to talk about story everyone knows. But a classic in cinema history and yes part 3 looses it's way a bit bit nice to have the trilogy.I even bought the underrated 4th film which is gorgeous in 4K, a little muddled But IMHO I'd rate it higher than part 3 and £10 for a beautiful steel book with pill logo was great.A collection for everyone in what ever format.

The Matrix Trilogy 4K Review
Ultra HD Blu-ray set includes all three films in the series, each with its own set of bonus features that were featured on previous releasesThe picture quality of the 4K release is a significant improvement over previous versions, with improved detail and crispness in the close-upsThe HDR is also great, making the colors pop and adding depth to the imageThe special effects, sound quality, and picture quality are all wonderful with a 4K TVThe movies were shot in 2K, so the "4K resolution" claim can be misleading, but the improvement in picture quality is still noticeableThe sound quality is also impressive, with the Dolby Atmos soundtrack providing an immersive audio experienceOverall, The Matrix Trilogy 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray set is a must-have for fans of the franchise. The improved picture and sound quality make for a more immersive viewing experience, and the bonus features provide additional content for fans to enjoy
