I purchased this solar animal repeller and so far I’m satisfied with it. Since it’s solar-powered, there’s no need for batteries, which is very convenient. The package comes with two units, so I installed one in the backyard and one in the front yard. Setup was quick and easy, and the motion detector is very sensitive—it picks up movement right away. I’m hopeful it will effectively keep animals away, but I’ll need more time to observe its long-term performance.

These probably would work but they have a major flaw. After charging them up I located all four in my yard doing the daytime. I noticed that all of them would trigger ON every 5 minutes or so without anything moving near them. After several hours they stopped working as they ran down the batteries. I had tried an almost identical product from a different manufacturer with similar results.

I really like this. I enjoy growing vegetables, but whenever they start to grow, animals come along and eat them. A friend suggested I buy some animal-repellent devices to place in my vegetable garden; he told me that ever since he installed them, his crops haven't been eaten by animals. So, I decided to buy two units to try out first. So far, no animals have shown up—I hope it continues to work this well!

seems worked for me. i don't see any birds coming back after applied it around my pool. Make sure to adjust it to the area you want avoid animals. I can hear small harsh sound with the motion lights on.

IT DOESN'T WORK! I have video proof that after 2 nights the Racoon was more curious than bothered, then started rumiging around my back patio. HOWEVER, all is not lost, I caught a ghost. Look outside the wall to the left. I call my ghost Humpy because he looks like he has a hunch back.
