The wireless CarPlay adapter that makes it as easy as 1-2-3 to connect to your phone from your car!
I love this wireless CarPlay adapter! I would give it 10+ stars if I could! It was so easy to install! It was truly plug and play! I plugged it in when I was in an open parking lot so I knew I had a good signal. And I was able to quickly pair with my iPhone! Then it was simple to open and start using CarPlay! The sound quality was great and the speed was perfect. I love all the functionality and the simplicity of the interface! And it came with a usb-c adapter so I was able to just plug it in! Getting everything you need to get started is a great value! I originally got this adapter to use with rental cars as it is often tricky to get them to pair quickly with CarPlay. So, I can’t wait to try it out on my next trip! In the meantime, I am glad to have it make my CarPlay seamless in my car at home! Overall this is a well designed CarPlay adapter, it connects easily with your phone to make it quick and simple to pair and start using! And it comes with a USB-c if you need it for the car you are driving!

No More Cables! Great for Local Audio and Voice Commands
I’ve only used this ELECROW Wireless Adapter a few times, but it’s already changing how I use my car's infotainment system. I rarely used Android Auto before because I hated messing with cables, but this makes it effortless to keep my phone in my pocket. The Setup: The initial "Plug & Play" was very straightforward—just plug into the USB port and pair via Bluetooth. It immediately recognized my phone and asked to load Android Auto. One major plus for me is how well it handles local audio files. I prefer playing my own files over streaming, and this adapter makes navigating those folders through the vehicle's screen much easier and safer. Voice Commands: The "OK Google" integration works perfectly. Being able to perform voice commands hands-free while driving is a big safety and convenience boost that I wasn't utilizing before. Connectivity Tip: I did notice that it doesn't always automatically trigger the screen change every time I start the vehicle. I’m still fine-tuning the settings, but even with that occasional manual step, it's still far better than a wired connection. Overall: If you find yourself ignoring your vehicle’s smart features because you don't want to plug in your phone, this is a great addition. It’s a solid 3-in-1 tool that genuinely expands how you use your phone on the road.

Solid audio connection and small form factor
This is my third Carplay dongle and it's a keeper. The first two, which were hockey puck type devices, both suffered from the same problem with my 2017 Ford - the audio would become scratchy every 15-20 minutes and correcting that would require stopping and restarting the stream. The Elecrow dongle, however, does not have this problem and I did not have to restart the audio even once during a 1500 mile drive. It ticks my other boxes - a reasonable price, easy to install and connect, and the small form factor. This dongle does everything the hockey puck dongles do in a fraction of the space. My sole quibble is that since this dongle supports Airplay, at every startup the user must make an onscreen choice between Carplay and Airplay. Now I have no intention of screening movies while driving - and hop you don't either - so I do wish I could set the dongle to default to Carplay and skip the question (see photo) every time I sit down to drive. But that's just a very small annoyance compared to the rock solid audio that this dongle delivers.

Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto adapter that reconnects automatically
I've installed several adapters like this over time, and since most of them run very similar firmware, the overall experience tends to be comparable. This one works about as expected and supports both 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands, which helps with compatibility across older and newer phones. Setup is straightforward. Once configured for either Android Auto or CarPlay, the vehicle detects the adapter as if a phone were physically connected. The most important feature for me is automatic reconnection. When you start the vehicle it reconnects on its own, so you don't have to plug your phone in every time you get in the car unless you actually want to charge it. Another advantage is that it doesn't interfere with using a wireless charger. You can drop your phone onto a charging pad and still have full access to maps, navigation, and other functions. It also works with multiple devices. Not at the same time, but whichever phone connects becomes the active device and behaves just like it’s plugged directly into the vehicle’s USB port.

Nice upgrade if you want wireless CarPlay
I picked this up through Vine and it turned out to be a really nice little upgrade for my car. My vehicle only has wired CarPlay, and plugging my phone in every time started getting a bit annoying. This adapter basically solves that problem. Setup was pretty simple. I plugged it into the car’s USB port, paired my phone once, and after that it started connecting automatically when I got in the car. Now CarPlay launches wirelessly after a few seconds without me having to take my phone out of my pocket. Connection has been stable so far for navigation, music, and calls. I’ve used it with maps and Spotify and didn’t notice any major lag or dropouts. It just works in the background like regular CarPlay, which is exactly what I wanted. The device itself is small and doesn’t take up much space, and I like that it comes with a small adapter for different ports. Overall it’s a convenient little gadget that makes the driving experience a bit smoother. If your car already supports wired CarPlay and you want to make it wireless, this is an easy upgrade. Definitely happy with it so far.

Finally got rid of the cables for my CarPlay
I was so tired of having to plug in my iPhone every time I got in the car just to use the maps and play music. This ELECROW 3 in 1 wireless adapter has been a game changer for me. I was a bit worried about the setup because I have had some bad luck with these types of dongles in the past but this one was truly plug and play on my Android phone too. The dual band WiFi 2.4G/5G and Bluetooth 5.3 means there is zero lag when I'm skipping songs or using the touch screen on the dash. I love that it comes with both USB-A and Type-C cables so I didn't have to buy any extra adapters to get it hooked up to my head unit. The Airplay mirror link is a nice bonus for when I want to show a quick video on the screen while I'm parked. It is much more reliable than the other ones I have tried and I haven't seen it drop the connection once on my long commute. If you are looking for a simple and solid way to get wireless CarPlay and Android Auto in your car then this is definitely the way to go. I am really happy with how much easier it makes my daily drive. Highly recommended!

Great Connectivity, but Check Your Aftermarket Radio!
I ordered this CarPlay adapter for my 2015 Toyota Camry. While the original factory radio didn't have CarPlay, I previously upgraded to an Android tablet-style head unit with CarPlay pre-installed. Unfortunately, I couldn't get my Motorola Razr 2023+ to interface with the car through this device. However, I want to clarify that the adapter itself seems to work perfectly; it connects to my phone almost instantly the moment I start the car. The issue appears to be a compatibility conflict with my specific aftermarket radio rather than the adapter itself. If you have a standard setup, the connectivity on this thing is on point!
