I originally was looking for a bone comb as a suggestion from my friend. I color and highlight my hair so it gets split ends and breaks easily. The bone combs are quite expensive. I ran across the Giorgio Hand-Made quality combs that are saw-cut from Durable Cellulose and hand polished. They are smooth and glide through wet or dry hair. The teeth are all rounded off and spaced nicely apart. No snagging my hair like cheap plastic combs. After my first purchase of a travel comb for my purse, I ordered 3 more different sizes. I keep one in the shower to comb conditioner through my hair. I gave one purse size to my friend. She loves it as much as her expensive bone comb that she lost. I am very pleased with my combs and look forward to using them for many years. Thank you Giorgio for making great quality products.

Love this comb, just right for my hands

I use this for my beard. All in all, this is a nice addition to my arsenal. I used to use only one comb for my beard, but now, I use three, including this one. I received it as a gift, and then I bought another one because it was so nice. No comb is perfect, and it doesn't do well with less dense hairs/areas (mustaches, etc), but this one does not pull out as many hairs as the other ones do (pick combs, etc). Plus, it's got a nice massaging-type smoothness to it when in use. (= It's quite sturdy; I don't see this thing breaking in half anytime soon. The size is just right and it seems to work well for wet/dry beards alike. After my beard is dry, I can then use a pick and comb it out even further. But forget doing so without using this comb prior... the pick will pull out so many hairs, it's unbelievable. This thing is so cool, I had to look up a video on how hand-made combs are made! LOL!! Hope this helps. (= *11-19-23 UPDATE: The handle broke a few months ago! Didn't see that one coming. It just came off because I wipe the oils/hairs off after use to avoid them accumulating and making a mess, and I guess the pressure was too much at a certain part. I saw the crack forming at the base of where the handle meets the comb itself, so nothing I could do about that. I just reordered it. Matter of fact, I used the comb even without the handle and saved it just in case. I now have two-and-a-half of the comb. (= Still doesn't change my prior opinion from some time ago. Love these combs! I'm kind of picky with combs due to years of having long hair and had lost my favorite one recently so somehow I found these while browsing. Got a set of two to have a spare. They're strong, feel good in my hand, attractive and look classic. They easily comb my hair too, wet or dry. Definitely recommend.

This comb reminds me of combs long ago before the plastic ones took over in the 70"s. It is gentle on the hair, and it glide through the hair very nicely. I am very glad that I found them for my fragile hair.
