Made chair reupholstery an easy, fun project
Used this electric stapler to reupholster seat cushions on ten dining chairs. Previously had used hand stapler. This tool sped the process and left my hands less tired and stiff. Accepts a variety of staples and brads. Adjustable power setting a plus for varying thickness of materials. Chose this device for features and past experience with DeWalt brand.

Gets the job done
It does exactly what it is supposed to and is a good value for the price. I'm using it for hanging insulation. It does jam occasionally but show me one that doesn't. It's kind of the nature of the product. A row of tiny staples held together with a light amount of glue is always going to have imperfections. And that issue lies mostly in the staples you put in it, not the stapler itself.

Easily plants staples flush with the wood surface.
I installed an attic staircase insulation cover and, after trying to do it initially with my hand stapler, realized I needed a power tool. At first, after reading a couple of the reviews including one that said the staples wouldn’t even cut though cardboard, I took a chance. The tool worked like a charm, planting every single staple flush with the framing wood. I like how the stapler will not shoot a staple unless it’s firmly planted up against the item you are stapling. The only downside I noticed is that the instruction manual is printed in such a small font that it’s almost impossible to read without a magnifying class. I’d have paid a few dollars more to get a decent readable manual. I recommend this tool—especially for those handy people who do not have an air compressor and the associated, pneumatic tools that are available for such a set-up.

It’s the bomb
It operates so easily. I like all the options of fasteners you can use.

Great for stapling paper to wallboard UPDATE !!!
Overall, it is just OK. While stapling chicken wire to pressure treated pine, set on full max, 75% of the staples, did not fully go into the wood. I had to hit them with a light hammer. On regular pine board, not a problem at all. So, for the little heavier work, not so good.I am really surprised too, I bought this figuring DeWalt was "Top Shelf" product. I will have to think twice before I purchase another item from this mfg. Someone within, is NOT doing there job apparently.4-25-24UPDATE: This has not been used at all these months. In all, perhaps, 250 staples though it and that is it. Pic's to prove that this unit is basically only for stapling paper to wallboard, worthless POS. Totally USELESS!!!!! I tired all available staples, Husky, Arrow, Bostich, Stanley... and they all, will not penetrate soft pine, NON TREATED. Worst tool that I ever bought.

Lack of power
Chose Dewalt because of good reputation . Was disappointed in the lack of Brad power . Would not nail the Brad flush with the board. Not even in soft pine 2x4
