Poor quality fabric, frays easily with beard.

I like the choice of colors and patterns. They don't seem they will last forever. The texture of the fabric is a little thinner than i expected.

Nice tie, husband wore it to a wedding. Tie fabric material is thin, but the color is beautiful with the white dots. He received a lot of compliments and was asked where they could go and purchase neckties. One person stated he brought a similar tie from a high-end men's store.

I needed a bow tie that could stand out and this was it. Once I wore it I could tell that the important companies gave me a look at a job convention. I totally recommend this.

I bought two of this to start from the sameit took a long time for them to come so I called Amazon- they were quick to respondand so was the seller: seller send out two replacement pair asap and they came quick-the quality of the tie themselves were excellent-so I ordered about 6 more-similar shipping time (although quicker than the first)but...... although they all say they go to 22 inch neck (which is what I am)some seem/look smaller and I have laid them out next to each other and that appears to truly be the casethere is a noticeable difference when compared side by sideso for someone like me when who has a large neck the smaller ones are very very tough to tie rightbut for under $5-- the quality is amazing and better than I expected: the communication from the seller when I had an issue was excellent- and each tie comes sealed in its only air tight package: overall I really like them I Just wish the consistency was there so that I could give them 5 stars.

I'm not going to say these are the best bowties I have ever worn, but they are very good given that they only cost $5! I bought 8 right away and love them all, they are all different and are a little thin but only people who pay close attention and know about bowties would really notice. I do imagine this will be their downfall in the future but that has yet to happen after about 3 months of use. The shipping does take a little while but much less than the 20 days suggested by the shipping notice, it took them about 2 weeks to get to me which was fine since I was in no hurry to get them. Love the bowties, great quality for the price that cannot be beat!

Not so bad quality of a bow-tie. I've already purchased 5 other PenSee bowties. I'm happy with the purchase I made - cost is not bad and fabric/sewing is so far good and holding up. The material is just about equivalent to the general make up of polyesther long ties.I generally buy my shirts with a 17inch neck. My hook setting leaves about 3-4 holes left, which makes me wonder if it can adequately fit larger necks, but this is just my experience - again, I'm quite new to the whole bow-tie arena, so I might not be tying them properly.If I can get a photo up of my bow tie tied up, I will.As I'm submitting this review - I looks like PenSee bowtie prices are going up (from 4.99+ship to 7.99+ship) - if you're on the fence, you should hurry up and decide soon ;)(PenSee dark red with white dots bowtie)

This is the third PenSee silk bow tie I have purchased for my husband and I have zero regrets! I even paid $3 extra to have it rush delivered so that it would arrive in time for Easter. He consistently receives compliments whenever he wears any of them. I don't think you could find a comparable silk tie at this price at your local shops. He does not wear them often, as one might who works in a while collar job so I cannot comment on it's "durability," but I would recommend this company, without hesitation, for those who want to plunge into the mad world of bow ties for the first time!

Needed as a casual bow tie for concerts. Fits the bill perfectly. Even better quality than their black bow tie - which Is also perfect for its purpose.
