I'm a watch guy. I have quite a few from the not so inexpensive to a few that are pricey. I don't buy them that often anymore but I was on a trip to Mexico and a guy we were talking to was wearing this one. I didn't know it at the time. I could tell I liked it though and honestly thought it was a Sunnto brand watch. Which are quite expensive. I couldn't resist so I asked him what kind it was. He said he didn't want to bring an expensive watch on the trip so he went on Amazon before he came and looked up waterproof watch. He found this one and told me the name on the back of the case. He said it was something like $10 (i know it's a little more than that but not much but that's what he said) I couldn't believe because it passed the eye test that day for sure. He told me the brand and when I got home I looked it up.A few days later I was taking one out of my mailbox. Packaged nicely by Amazon and inside was a smaller sturdy watch box. The watch has been great for me. Two things I like about it.It's big! 2" case diameter. It's all black and very stealth like but in a good way. It's stylish and while it might be a little difficult to read depending on lighting or angle that's okay. The 3 second light helps with that but most of the time you won't need it and I sort of like that it appears as a blacked out watch. You will be surprised at the quality but at same time it's light weight. It may not be your forever watch because over the test of time you'll get some bangs probably that might cause it to fail but for most part it's durable enough and if that day does come.... YOU BUY ANOTHER! OR two at a time!! The band is really nice. I like the soft rubbery feel and it's not thin. (that's what she said) It's thick but lays flat out when you take it off. I wasn't use to that because most of my sport bands have that built in curve to them and take on the shape of when you're wearing them but this one lays flat out. Very supple. I have not experienced any defects. It has worked perfectly for me but I've only had it about a week or so. It's my EDC watch these days. One more small detail and something you won't even think about but the buckle clasp is all black too. If you pay attention you'll see a lot of watches have the stainless shiny type but this one goes along with the all black matt-finish. They did everything in black except the screw heads that hold the band together.Hope this helps.

I bought this watch because I wanted the following features in a watch: waterproof, comfortable and not stupid looking.In the past I've always used pocket watches because most watches chafe my wrist.This watch is super comfortable (feels super good on my slightly sensitive skin), it's totally waterproof (I like to swim laps for exercise, this puppy has hours of underwater time and it's still working like a charm) and it looks pretty cool as well.When I was deciding whether or not I would buy this watch, I read reviews about the watch being "Hard to read", here is my response to that: Sure, the watch isn't very bright - BUT - When you're in the bright sunlight, it's extremely easy to read if you just tilt it to the angle of the light. When you're in pitch black it's very easy to read when you light up the display. I've never had an instance where I couldn't read the time on this watch.Interface is super user friendly. I read the directions once and have still been able to muddle my way through setting alarms and changing back and forth between military time. Also the date feature is super nice because I'm always forgetting the date.Great buy - it's about as cheap of a "waterproof" watch as you're going to find, and it works pretty great for me after having it for 6+ months.Shalom!-Zach

Really like the watch, but not totally in love with it. Band is comfortable, style is unique and transaction was smooth and friendly with courteous emails asking if I was happy with my purchase.And while I am very happy with my watch I do have one issue that I am not happy with.This watch is not really a good watch for people in dimmer enviroments. The product image is a representation of the watch with the backlight on, not in normal mode. Right now, while sitting in my room with medium amount of light it is a little difficult to read (see pictures.)I work on a casino floor and need to check the time for documentation constantly. On my old Casio I could easily glance at my watch to check the time. On this one I have found I have to spend more time looking at it and a large increase in number of presses on backlight. Over all this will be an issue for anyone who works in lower lighting conditions that doesn't want to hit the backlight button constantly.Also, if you have large fingers, this might not be the watch for you. With all 4 function buttons, being on one side, it is a little hard for me to navigate through the menus unless I really point my finger to hit it.Over all I want to love this watch. I like the brand, love the style, but will be giving it to my nephew who needs a watch and looking for a better fit for me.

Very difficult to program, instructions are confusing too. Face of watch is HUGE, may not suit a more slender wrist. The light is not on unless you push the button, and then only for a couple of seconds, so don't expect the big, clear display shown in the picture. In fact, the brilliance of the display is sorely lacking, so this may not appeal to those who need a brighter backlight. The band is a nice pliable material and so no cutting into the skin. It has multiple features, but I doubt I will ever use them due to the difficulty programming the watch. Is supposed to automatically switch between Normal and Daylight savings time, have yet to find out. So far is keeping good time. Just wish you could keep the display lit for a longer period of time. Not terrible for the price. Did arrive very promptly. Nice that the company reached out to find out how I felt about their product, just sorry that I couldn't give it a higher rating.
