How strong are the magnets in the MagicMount Strong car mount?

The MagicMount Strong series uses more powerful neodymium magnets designed to provide a stronger magnetic hold. Combined with the included thicker MagicPlate metal plates, it keeps your phone securely mounted during bumps, turns, and daily driving.

What is the benefit of the thicker MagicPlate metal plates?

The MagicMount Strong flush mount includes thicker MagicPlate metal plates, which help improve the magnetic connection between the phone and the magnetic mount. This creates a stronger hold, especially for larger phones or heavier cases.

What phones are compatible with this magnetic mount?

The extra strong magnetic mount works with most smartphones when used with the included MagicPlate metal plates. Simply place the plate inside your phone case or attach it to the back of your phone or case to enable magnetic mounting.

Does the MagicPlate affect wireless charging or NFC functionality on my phone?

Yes, the MagicPlate can affect wireless charging if placed directly over your phone’s charging coil. For best results, follow the placement instructions to ensure the plate is positioned away from your device’s charging coil or NFC zone.

What surfaces can the MagicMount flush mount be installed on?

The flush mount installs using a strong 3M adhesive base. Works best on clean, smooth, flat surfaces such as dashboards, consoles, walls, or other hard surfaces. Avoid heavily textured, soft-touch, leather, or dusty surfaces for the most secure hold.
