I needed these to mount a larger 4X scope on my Marlin model 60 .22 LR rifle. To get both medium and tall mounts in one kit for less than $12 is a great value and will give me the flexibility I need. These pieces are fully aluminum with nice allen hardware and they even included a wrench. Are they the best scope mounts ever? No, but for the money they are really nice and definitely exceed my expectations. This is Amazon's sweet spot.

Screws were installed so tight that the head of one of the top cap bolts rounded out. Was able to drive a start bit in the hole to get it out. Should not have to do this. Was able to use the screw from other set so still able to use the mount correctly.

It's very reasonable price. My application was for an old .22 Remington Nylon 66 and it worked fine.

its a set of scope rings.. either they work or not... these work, good price, decent quality..especially for price.. may need to lap them for precision fit

No location dowel on the bottom. Mounts could move front to back under heavy pressure

I needed dovetail rings to mount on my rifle. There are two rings even have a small point on the bottom, which adjustable with the hex wrench, and are made to fit into the hole on the rear of the barrel to secure it and to avoid sliding. They look great and hold very securely.
