Chicken & Dumplings 20oz 6 Pack

This brand is incredibly popular in the midwest where I'm from, since I moved to the Northwest Coast, I cannot find my favorite brand, Sweet Sue's anywhere. It never even occurred to me to look online, but my mom recommended it and I'm so pleased that they are here on Amazon. These are huge cans on their own, as a teenager it was my comfort food and I could eat a whole can by myself, as an adult I realize that it could probably feed a family decent portions, nonetheless I am extremely eager for my next delivery. I know it's not everybody's favorite cup of tea, but the dumplings are always enormous and delicious, there is abundant chicken inside the can, it's literally about half and half, but the flavor and the texture of this is above all others that I've tried. Being here where I am now, I have tried every brand in my area of chicken and dumplings over the last 5 years not a single one of them compared to Sweet Sue's.

Delicious fast meal.

I love eating this when I want an easy comfort food. Couldn't find it in the stores in the northeast when I lived there. Was so glad to find it on Amazon. Nice portions with good amount of chicken in it. Costs about double, though, what it costs in stores. But, worth it to me if I can't find it in the store

I love everything about these. These are soft dumplings and the chicken is moist and huge. Seasoning is great and I also add 1 small cans of peas just for something green!

This is a great family favorite and we thought we would save time and energy ordering it from Amazon vs lugging cans from our local markets. Bad choice. Every can was dented in some area. I’ll never order canned goods like this from Amazon again.

I have tried several canned dumplings and this is the best. It has a country taste and the texture and taste of these dumplings are amazing. They are sold out so many times at the stores. I finally found them on Amazon. Love them! Thank you Amazon!

It's very good I've ate these a lot and still eat them.

This is the absolute worst chicken and dumplings I have ever had. The dumplings are extremely doughy and you can still see the perforation marks where they came off the assembly line (as you have to cut them in pieces or break them apart yourself) so the claim that it's just like homemade or mother used to make is way off the mark. They were so doughy that I was tempted to put them in my pressure cooker separately to cook them a little longer so I could actually eat them. The chicken is just really tiny dark pieces (like the kind that comes pre-chopped on a salad bar or something) but you can find thicker chunkier white pieces of chicken by buying it in a can like 'chunk chicken'. The sauce for chicken and dumplings is supposed to be creamy (like the sauce in a pot pie) but there is nothing creamy about this as it's just cloudy colored water. What a waste of money and for them to put 'America's Favorite' on the can is nothing but a blatant lie as I cannot believe this can be anyone's favorite, as it was absolutely disgusting. My husband (who took a can to work for his lunch) told me that the dumplings were so bad he picked them out and threw them in the trash and just ate the watery leftovers with the tiny chicken bits. I'm writing this so that nobody else wastes there money on something so awful it's better of just throwing it in the garbage. If you want to try 'real' chicken and dumplings, try Swanson's and you won't believe the difference in quality and taste. I should have just stuck to the Swanson's and tried anything different, cause this was absolutely horrible.
