This is a quality product, especially at this price point. I like that an optional extension rail is provided to allow spanning across 24" stud intervals - but this same extension is valuable to provide lots of extra flexibility in centering the TV on your wall even if the stud placement is nowhere near centered on the wall. The tilt mechanism is basic but functions well within a reasonable range of motion and the TV is easy to attach to the bracket. I had to shorten the two TV rails that attach to my LG TV as the back of my particular TV model is not flat at the bottom, but "flares out" to a wider base. That was easily done with a hacksaw (removed about 2" of each rail before bolting to back of TV VESA mount). The directions were reasonably well-written and easy to follow. A cardboard mounting template is also provided, along with a set of adjustment screws near the top to level out the TV left-to-right (this helps if you find your mounting bracket is not perfectly level across the wall after you bolt it in place). If you are handy with tools and doing measurements to lay things out, this is an easy install. If that is not your skillset, it may be worthwhile to have a friend who is knowledgeable help you out.

I did not realize this came in two pieces. I don't recall that being in the description, but if it was I just missed it because that's why I chose this one over another. Putting the pieces together was not as easy for the top and bottom screws they seemed to want to cross thread. I did eventually get them I and once it was together it appeared to be solid. I love that this comes with a teamplate. This helped because I have a wall socket where I was installing and my builder uses the jumbo covers so I just drew in the opening on my template and went to the big box stores for a standard size one to solve. If that had been the only issue this probably would have gotten all 5s. But when I got to installation I came to find while this package included the screws I need they were simply to long. I had enuf washers to compensate, but there is a rim on the anchor arms that would not allow the washers and screw to be flush. No way I'm mounting my TV with this issue. So after trying to make this work for 20 minutes I gave up and back to the box store for shorter screws. $5 later I have the arms installed, mount on the wall and TV up. Everything appears solid and I love all the safety features on this mount. This is not flush to my wall like some of my other mounts, but I chose it that way for ease of installing cords. I have installed a lot of mounts in other rooms of my home so I would say installation on this mount is by far my least favorite, but the safety features are subpurb. As long as it stays on the wall I'm happy.

We decided to wall mount all three of our flat screens for convenience. The other two TVs are newer and took the "X" style wall mount, but this old TV has a really big, rectangular mounting pattern compared to those newer models, so the new wall mounts that fit the newer TVs just don't adjust big enough for our old dinosaur. Found this product, Everstone Adjustable Tilt TV Wall Mount Bracket for Most 32-80 Inch LEDs, which was a great price. Got it, mounted the hardware and got the TV up within ten minutes. Very easy once you have figured out where your studs are in the wall. Just pay attention to your instructions. The brackets that attach the TV to the wall mount go one way only. They are labeled, so just look for it so you don't mount those upside down. Someone in our household doesn't read directions and put those on upside down the first time. But it's up now, holds really tight, swivels up or down and is just what we needed to save space. This is a 40" TV, weighs 20-30 pounds. This mount does the job. We recommend!

Having decided I didn't want to pay someone to mount my 3 flat screens in my house I decided to try and do it myself for the 1st time. The price was just right on this kit for mounting all 3 of my tvs. 3 kits for less than Best Buys price to mount 1. To say I had a little trepidation is an understatement, but after watching a very helpful video and getting all the correct tools in place. I mounted all 3 tvs in a weekend. My tvs range in sizes from 48" to 58" and quite a difference in weight. Im not sure home much my old Phillips 52" weighed but it must have been a good 45-50 pounds. The 42" and 58" are newer and dont nearly weigh as much. Installation was pretty straight forward, with the biggest challenge being finding the studs. Having been unfamiliar with a stud finder I purchased one and after a few gos I was able to find them more easily that I thought I would. Except in my daughters room which is an addition to the garage so finding the studs with those thin walls was quite tricky. But once found, the rest of the set up was easy, mark the studs with my trusty pencil. Hang the template, make sure its level. The kit comes with a level that works just fine. Then mark the holes in all 4 spots that you need to mount the bracket to the wall. Once I marked them I used my Phillips head screwdriver to dent the drywall for my starter hole for my drill. I would recommend a cordless nut-driver if you have one. Keeps the big wood screws from really burying into the drywall as the torque kicks in. The bracket mounting to the back of the TV was straight forward and took about 5 mins to do, just pick out the right size screw, washer and spacer and your all set. Once the brackets are on, pick the tv up and put it on the wall mount. I installed all 3 tvs by myself and it was really easy to pick them up and slip them onto the top of the mount and then slide the bottom half on and hear the click. Slide left and right to move the tv in place, tilt up in down to your preference and WALLA! its mounted. I didn't need the wall mount extension as my studs were 16" apart. I have to believe anyone who rated this really low must be a perfectionist or just got some bad parts. Im not an audiophile or building a top notch home entertainment system. I just wanted my TVs off the stands since moving into this new house. Im very happy with the quality and ease of which to install these. Having this been my 1st time, it took me about an hour to do my 1st tv and then half as much for my 2nd one and then maybe 10-20 minutes for my last one. The instructions are not very good, so watch the video thats with the mount, if not just go to YouTube and type in your type of tv and mounting to the wall, you will find someone with instructions. I would have given 5/5 if the instructions were better, so 4/5 isn't too bad. ....Good luck!

I Never expected this to be that great for the price. It even came with a level in it to balance things out. I can’t lie, I sat in my living room trying real hard to think of something negative but there’s nothing. It’s fully adjustable, built like a tank and super easy to install. Also, did I mention it’s dirt cheap ?

The installation couldn’t be simpler. It’s self explanatory and the instructions aren’t even necessary. The metal looked a little thin on first impression but the whole thing is actually very sturdy. Definitely good value compared to other brands found in actual stores for triple the price.

We bought this tv wall mount I'm usually sceptical about ordering cheaper items as quality is not as good usually, but it said it could hold the weight capacity of our flatscreen so I took the chance, and have to say it was easy to install and is extremely sturdy definitely worth the money. Very happy with our purchase, and would definitely recommend.

Works well for my 75” Samsung Supplied dry wall anchors are no good. If your not going into studs on both side I would recommend getting proper drywall anchors. But it works and it’s cheap.
