CRAFTSMAN Wrench Set, Universal, 7 Pieces (914018)

For the price, you can't beat this wrench set. It has a click and store plastic case, which holds the wrenches in easily and securely. I have a metal peg board in my workshop that I hang these from thanks to the convenient carry handle. The wrenches itself are nice looking and solid. The 11/16 wrench measures 9oz, which is over a half a pound. It measures 9" long. The shortest 5/16 wrench is 4" in length. Great size for your needs. I researched a bunch of different sets and this is a great set and definitely a authentic Craftsman product.

This small set of Craftsman wrenches is excellent. They are precision-cut and clearly size stamped. They come in a slick plastic holder that doubles as a wall mount. The open-end design is a little thicker than I expected but looks very stable. The box-end design is high-tech and not the traditional 6 or 12 sided, so that it fits hex, square, torch, and spline nuts. Still getting used to that. I tried them on my car with normal hex bolts and they worked fine. The thick heads on the open-ends would not fit in tight places. Great quality and value. I will keep my eye on the new design box-ends to see if they work over time, but new, they performed well.

It is too bad that Sears is having the troubles they currently are experiencing. In the past they made great Craftsman brand tools and these are certainly no exception. High quality tools and for a great price. I purchased several for Christmas gifts for male members of the family and I suspect they will enjoy theirs as much as I enjoy the set that I purchased for myself.

A little pricey for the wrenches. But bought them because of the Craftsman name. Always a tough wrench. Shipping was delayed 2 days too.

By the best wrenches ive ever purchased given the price of the set. Most sets in this price strip the heads on the aluminum bolts I use them on every day, and these fit perfect amd never mess up the bolts.

The ends, and the middle of the wrenches are machine ground, no (plating). The rest of the wrench is painted black, and does scratch easily. A draw back to consider.... I am sure that if exposed to moisture they will flash rust.Over all for $20 you can't go wrong, and the do look cool.

a little upset i ordered the wrong ones but a very sturdy good feeling set that has come in handy more than once . feels like they will outlast me

These are definitely built to last. Great set! A tad bit on the heavy side but I got used to it very quickly.
