Piezo Tune O Matic bridge/pickup in chrome finish

Excellent addition to my guitar

This will only work on guitars with a tuno-matic bridge. The bridge is also about 2mm taller than the standard bridge so bear that in mind. Luckily my Flying V copy has a bolt in neck so I added a shim. This won't make your electric sound like an acoustic though, but it will sound like an under saddle piezo electro acoustic, good enough for gigging if you don't want to bring an acoustic. It's also passive and the volume balance between the piezo and the humbuckers is even so no preamp needed but you do need to turn the treble down in the amp as it's very bright like an under saddle piezo. An EQ pedal can tailor to your taste, I rust roll back the tone know a bit. It also blends well with the humbuckers without a preamp too. I guess because 6 piezo saddles in parallel with each reduce the overall impedance making it usable without preamp and possible to blend with a humbucker. Really great product and a fraction if the cost of the Seymour Duncan power bridge or Graphtec Ghost. It's also quite discrete once installed. I drilled a hole under the bridge into the control cavity. I put this on a push pull to select either the bridge or the piezo so I can blend the piezo with the neck pickup which is a nice clean sound.

Bolzen und Löcher in der Bridge passen nicht zusammen. Für handwerklich versierte "Schrauber" vielleicht weniger ein Problem (Löcher aufbohren mit entsprechendem Werkzeug), aber ein Test der PUs ohne eine Modifikation nicht möglich. Das ist ärgerlich. Ich korrigiere nach dem "Aufbohren" und Test mein 1 Stern auf 4 Sterne, da der PU sehr gut auch ohne Preamp "handhabbar" ist (steht u.a. auch in einer anderen Rezension). Der Test und Einbau war auf einer ES Kopie mit 2 Humbucker und dem Piezo in der Bridge.

Si tratta di un ponte Tune o Matic per Gibson e cloni che consente di prelevare, grazie ai suoi pickup piezo, il suono "grezzo" della vostra chitarra elettrica, il suono che restituisce, in pratica, è quello fisico e non magnetico delle corde, il che lo rende più simile ad una chitarra acustica piuttosto che elettrica. Le quote di costruzione estremamente precise lo rendono perfettamente compatibile in sostituzione del ponte originale. L'assistenza del venditore non tarda a venire nel caso poniate delle domande relative al montaggio od alle caratteristiche. Ciò che mi ha felicemente sorpreso è che malgrado l'ottimo prezzo questo ponte possiede un piccolo pickup per ognuna delle sellette, questo significa che ognuna delle corde avrà il suo pickup ad occuparsi del prelievo del suono, al contrario di altre soluzioni (pessime aggiungo io) che dispongono di un solo pickup a striscia che non può garantire una buona resa. Nella confezione, piuttosto minimal, sono comprese le viti di registro dell'altezza del ponte con relative sedi. Il collegamento avviene con microjack precablato da 2,5mm e sorpresa delle sorprese il segnale raccolto NON necessita di preamplificazione, insomma non si può proprio chiedere nulla di più e lo promuovo assolutamente.
